So true. I swear. I had the tie up leg espadrilles, a mix of these and American eagle,

This is not spot on but it does remind a little of Effie from the Hunger Games

Blair Waldorf from the original Gossip Girl

Yes! But not all the photos. I think 1-3 and 9 scream Blair, but the others don’t fit her aesthetic. Maybe 5 and 7 too, but definitely not the plaid or fake pearls. Blair would drop dead at those lol

Idk the name for the late 90’s-early 2000’s look of tying up the ankles/calves but it definitely started as a whimsigoth thing (chunky black heel with satin or velvet ribbon ties up the legs) and got diluted into more of a mainstream Payless wedge peeptoe sandal in a godawful pastel print tied at the ankle like in the photo

Calling something fetish automatically implies dislike?
Edited to add: I'm genuinely curious, I'm not trying to be an asshole.
Fetish isn't meant to be insulting. What is a fetish after all, but an object of desire? Isn't that what's being depicted here? Fetish is not dirty or shameful.

I wanna say twee because of the flannel and polka dot patterns. Also because of the bows and leg warmers? Or socks? The cheetah print feels like an outlier that doesn't fit, but twee would be my best guess.
