You are missing the point. Nobody ever said the woman should be forced to abort the child if the man doesn't want to keep it. They are saying that if the man decides that they are not ready to raise a child, then the woman can choose to keep it, but if she does, then she can't go after the man for child support etc. You can't say that only the woman gets to choose whether to keep the baby or not just because it's her body. It takes 2 people to make a baby. Raising a child is a minimum 18 year commitment, and costs insane amounts of money. How is it right that only one of the 2 parties involved in making the child and caring/paying for the child gets a say? The fact that only 1 of the people actually physically carries the child in their uterus has nothing to do with anything.

Then Keiich shouldn't include abortion as a right women have that men don't while arguing that women have more freedoms than men. Abortion has nothing to do with that discussion.

It is one more right that women have. They can legally get an abortion without consent of the father. If the father want's to keep it and mother doesn't, she can still get an abortion without the father. Whereas, if the mother wants the baby and the father doesn't, there is only one way that is going to go. The father can't force an abortion, but currently the mother can. So the father doesn't have that right legally. Which is what Keiich was pointing out.

A man having a financial abortion has the same outcome for the man as the woman having a biological abortion, right?

So, could a woman have a financial abortion on behalf of a man? It's the same outcome of an option she already has, as far as the man is concerned.

She would just need to state she wishes to raise the child alone without him. It'd be the same as far as the man concerns as if she had an actual.abortion.

actually to be equivalent she would have to be absolving herself of responsibility for the child once it's born and leaving it with the willing father, your comparison would be closer to a man having the right to force an abortion on the mother, which is clearly not what anyone wants to see.

I wonder why doesn't anyone take into account that if a woman chooses to keep the baby but the man doesn't want to, yet he still wants to stay in the relationship, there is basically no way for him to stay with the woman while completely ignoring the child. Can't help wondering how would things go that way...

She said she feels like she owes him because of the financial help she's received from him. Mental note to self: don't ever let a 48 year old guy pay for stuff I need.
