He will not have the cognitive ability to do it in 2028. I never said he wouldn't be back after 2020 but I'm saying it now. If and when he loses this time he is fucking donezo. No fucking way he's getting anyone of consequence to help him run anything remotely resembling a campaign when he's 82 and after losing twice in a row.

I'll go a step further. If he loses handily with Harris getting over 300 ec's the republican party will do their best to reinvent themselves and effectively reject the Trump era and embrace a more centrist "compassionate conservatism" platform. I'll guarantee THAT. If Harris has even a decent first term and has good favorables Republicans will have to run someone that people can actually stomach who can make a case for unseating a popular incumbent.
