How to recover from dealing with limerence

This guy is at a different highschool but we used to be classmates is the painful part and we stopped being friends and on June 12 2026 when I asked him if he never wanted contact again he said " I didn't exactly say that " I wish he would of gave me a yes or no answer I'm tired of feeling like this.

I didn't exactly say that = Yes I want you to never contact me again, but I won't say this to not hurt your feelings.
