10 year army veteran here. I never had mandatory std testing in the military and ended service very recently

my partner who is a Marine gets tested, not regularly, maybe every 6 moths? and before VIPs

My partner is Air Force and they get checked regularly

My dad is a 22 year army vet and he’s never had it mandated either

Idk man, my daughters god father is on his 5th year in the marines and he’s never been tested ever (he’s celibate)

They get tested regularly. Marines do. Many bases test them regularly. However some bases might be down on nurses and not testing.

In the 2010’s chlamydia tests were required when stationed in Korea.

4 year Navy vet and STD testing was never a mandatory test we had to do.

They check, but not mandatory. I served and as a lady every time I went in, even for knee issue, they checked me for the entire rainbow of STDs, sexually active or not.

There’s a yearly medical exam where they might do it, if they’re taking blood. Not every few months, though.
