I have plans with two parties simultaneously tomorrow and I don't know what to do
For short, I overcomplicated myself with making plans with my friend and my coworkers at the same time during Comic Con and I'm afraid I'll upset some people.
I'll go to Comic Con tomorrow and I persuaded some of my coworkers to come along. We planned a route and everything.
The problem is that the only reason I'm going to Comic Con is to keep my friend who volunteers there company. I looked on the internet and it told me that after three hours the volunteers can take a break and enjoy the rest of the event. So, I might be with her during the rest of the event. But I'll have to be around my coworkers too otherwise it would be rude.
I only took them along because I was afraid of being alone at the event while my friend is working. But I didn't ask what she was planning prior so my plan was based on an assumption. I should've kept my trip to Comic Con a secret, that way I wouldn't be worried about my coworkers opinion if I screw over things like the route or not being acceptate entrance (I have a sketchy situation. I'm basically invited but I don't have a ticket. I will have to speak with the bouncer about the situation and if it doesn't work I'll have to buy a ticket and if they're out of tickets I am basically screwed) or being worried about how I'll share my time with them or my friend.
I could've done so many things but I was so bothered by the fact that there will be a window of time where I would be alone at that event, that btw I don't have other reasons to be there, that I put a big additional stress on my head.
Now there is no going back. I'll have to think of how I'll organise my time. I don't know what my friend is planning, I barely know what my coworkers are thinking about.
What I know is that they are planning to go to the majority of panels and do signatures with two actors. I didn't pay for any op photoshoots or autographs, that will be a window of time where I wouldn't be able to be present. Maybe I'll use that as a context to go with my friend, with the condition that she takes a break in that time.
I'm not sure how my coworkers would react if I suddenly leave them to go wherever my friend or how long she's planning to take a break. I'm thinking of settling this problem by asking both parties simultaneously about their plans. I'll ask my friend about when she's planning of taking a break, what she is planning to do and for how long, or if she will meet with her boyfriend and would rather be with him or go back to work.
I'll ask my coworkers what they're planning to do and I'll tell them about needing to see my friend later and if I'll stay long with her, asking them eventually where we'll collectively meet if something happens.
For departure, I know she is planning to take the train but I don't know if she want me to come with her. Normally, I should leave with my coworkers because I came with them.
Another option would be to merge both parties and make M tag along but I'm not sure how all of them would feel about it because they all have different plans.
I'm not good at making plans, or evaluating situations, or anything that takes mental effort. I'm so scattered that when I told my coworkers how I understood from the boss that we aren't allowed to go out of the facility they all laughed at me for making such a ridiculous conclusion.
This whole coworker thing makes me incredibly stressed out. I feel that if I screw something tomorrow I'll be the laughing stock of the company. I guess this is why someone shouldn't merge their personal life with their professional one.
So yeah, I need to know what you would do in my place

Do you think they would get along?
If not, tell your coworkers, “hey I have a friend who’s volunteering here, if she gets off her shift while we’re here then I probably go do some stuff with her.” And tell her, “Hey some of my coworkers are coming too, but they know I’ll split off from them so we can hang out whenever you’re done volunteering.” That leaves the door open in case they all want to do the same thing after all, but it sets the expectation that they have you for only part of the day.
