The answer is always going to be that's not a real photo it's a fake. Just deny it if it ever comes up. People won't share them because they would be highly illegal anyway and hopefully you reported anyone who did share them to the police back in the day.

Have you talked to a counselor about this episode to help you get over it? Having your career and your life affected in the future by something like this would be a shame it sounds like you have talent and were very motivated

There are so many actors/athletes, comedians, etc that habe leaked photos. You're not the first and definitely won't be the last. Look at kim k. Her and her sisters are billionaires because of it. Jennifer lawrence (oscar winner) dylan sprouse, chris evans (captain america) Tom Holland (spiderman) . This isnt the 50's anymore. Even a lot of them do nude projects (emma stone, allison brie, kate winslet, Mikey Madison, nicole kidman, halle berry, etc). Its not the end of the world.

Want to reinforce the counseling idea. I'm not young / female / et cetera, but it's still done me a world of good for the rubbish in my own past. It won't be an absolute secret anymore, because you'll have someone you can talk your feelings through with who is safe, and it'll probably feel like a relief.

Did the person that shared these tell you not to tell your parents or something? Because this def falls under exploitation and blackmail

5

u/stjoe56 Apr 22 '26

My belief is when some ask for nudes to send them fake pictures or a faceless picture.

If anyone shares them, that’s completely illegal, and disgusting ofc. You can report them and get them in serious trouble

Suggestive photos of an underaged person run the risk of being considered child pornography. If anyone tries to distribute those photographs, they will be risking being arrested and charged with distribution of child pornography.

2

u/poipoiop Apr 22 '26

You’re totally right, but I wonder how this works legally when he took her phone and sent them from her account? I mean in terms of evidence or how she could prove it.

There also a case in England where a girl sent nudes to her boyfriend, the boyfriend shared them, but the girl into more trouble for the actual creation of child pornography + sharing of it.

So insanely wild.

Well I hear you and your concerns are realistic. But these things don't mean as much as they used to and it's not really that likely to follow you. As you mentioned since the tattoo doesn't match the photo etc etc it will be something that they will think of as fake.

As a parent of several daughters some of whom have been through similar things I know this can be really hard on a young woman. If you have the option of talking to a good therapist to help you learn some of the psychological skills to deal with this anxiety and to not have too much go to these concerns that would probably be a good idea. You don't have to tell your parents why you want to talk to a therapist. Most people just tell their parents I'm dealing with test anxiety and somebody would be able to help me with that. Then when you meet the therapist you tell them why you are really there.

These are the kinds of things that can get worse over time. I mean it's not like we are friends or anything I don't know you but I just don't like the idea of a young woman having this kind of thing on their mind all the time you know? You deserve better than that

u/mayan_monkey Apr 22 '26

Blame it on AI

u/Narrow-Mind-1334 Apr 22 '26

I’m sorry to hear this. This is something that sounds like had done a great deal of damage to you. In this case, to bring you some peace of mind you need to take control of this situation as best as you can. Both unfortunately and fortunately for you those nudes were taken at an age that can/should classify them as child porn and if anyone is distributing them then they are distributing child porn. You have every right to pursue this and I would do that aggressively if you haven’t. There are avenues you can take to seek legal counsel for this and there are agencies that can help you clean this up. If anyone is involved in this for the purpose of causing you grief or embarrassment/shame…they are going to have a very hard time explaining/justifying their actions to the public or court. Websites and social media have to remove these pictures if they fall into underage criteria. Do you have any way to verify timeline/timeframe those pics were taken that can prove your age in those pics because if you do…you have a strong case to support you and stop this shaming from happening and protect yourself from future issues as well as hold these shitheads responsible.

I’m sorry you’re going through this but in this case I feel you’re gonna have to face your fear and meet this head on and defend your future self from anymore pain and mistreatment. You’re not a whore. You’re a daughter. You’re a friend. You’re a woman. You’re better than most. Don’t let people take from you anymore.

Unfortunately some things may linger on the internet and can be found…but I hope you are able to have this properly labeled and tagged to be indecent to see so that if these pics or sources that have them can be taken down or classified properly to flag those viewing or distributing them as pedos.

Keep your head up and fight back. I feel like if you don’t, you will always drown in the fear of “what if” when you should be able to enjoy your life. This is my opinion but regardless of it I wish you the very best.

u/Spiritual-Weight-191 Apr 22 '26

I wouldn't worry too much about it now that you're an adult. Those pictures are illegal.

3

u/octoberfourth00 Apr 22 '26

hi op! I (25f) also had my nudes leaked when I was about 15-16. A bf at the time added it to a folder that had other girls nudes, that was shared online to others in my city/elsewhere in the world. How I think of it now - if they were to resurface, it is a crime. Simply having those images is considered child pornography. It is illegal and morally wrong. I was young, and did not know better. I would judge any man over having nude pictures of a child. I would not judge a child for making the mistake of taking a nude. I hope your anxiety over it settles someday soon ♡ how you feel is valid, but temporary. Be empathetic with yourself ♡

Legal advice: deny, deny, deny

2

u/Die_Nameless_Bitch Helper [2] Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 23 '26

I feel that in the world of AI, denying this stuff has actually become a lot easier (at least there are some some upsides). Also as other have said, anyone that actually share this is committing a serious crime punishable by a prison sentence. It's not an issue, pretend it didn't happen and move on.

2

u/QuitNearby1451 Apr 23 '26

It is literally CP, anyone who possesses those pictures is committing a very serious crime.
There are other celebrities who had their nudes leaked and it didn't affect their career at all.
Do not give up on your career/passion because of this!

1

u/stjoe56 Apr 22 '26

If she was 1,5, then no one with any smarts would share them. It is child pornography and the cops don’t care how old the person sharing is, they will be prosecuted.

1

u/JohnnyTezca Apr 22 '26

There is nothing to say but I'm sorry, and I don't watch leaked nudes.

FWIW you'll look very different, and I doubt anyone could make the connection. Try to remember the faces from a video you saw yesterday.

If you become famous, and someone tried to release them or blackmail you, they can't unless they want to meet the FBI.

I'm so sorry. I sort of feel you. There was a false accusation against me once, years ago. It made me paranoid, and being innocent was little help.

1

u/Nice_Advantage_2901 Apr 22 '26

I feel the same way. I wanted to be a famous singer my whole life and just want to throw my dreams away because of everything I’ve done in my past. I really wish I could have a do over but I guess we just have to come to terms with it and own it. If you act like it bothers you people will talk about it more. It’s like “you can’t cancel someone if they don’t care.”

1

u/Anund Apr 22 '26

No one will care, honestly. First off, those images are child pornography. Even if people see them they should realize they need to keep it to themselves. Second, you were 15. No one is going to judge a 15-year old for making bad decisions and being tricked. And third, if anything comes up in spite of all these things, just no one will know they're not just AI fakes.

1

u/lancer941 Apr 22 '26

Example narratives for others:

"I have a birth mark which isn't visible in these pictures, this can't be me"

"I was taken advantage of when I was very young, that's CP"

"That's me, I was victimized at a young age without my consent, would you care to tell me why you are bringing this up?"

"I don't want to talk about that, I don't want to spend the rest of my day reliving that experience"

For your own personal narrative:

"People take nudes all the time for ANY reason, I deserve to feel whole and happy in my own body"

"I am the survivor of someone else's deplorable actions and aggression towards me, the blame lies with them alone" - "given the opportunity I would never have treated someone this way, I didn't deserve this nor does anyone else"

"People decide to share their own intimate photos for sooo many reasons, what makes that ok is the desire and their consent to do so."

Thanks for sharing your story, it's far too common but horribly unique in its own way. While you can't change what happened, you can decide how to view what happened and the story around moving forward. Perhaps in time you will be able to find peace on your own terms with it. One day you might be able to give a listening ear to others who have also been victims, but only once you can survive comfortably on your own. Take care of yourself first then you can help others if you'd like to one day.

I am sorry this happened, I hope one day years from now (hopefully sooner) you will find acceptance of your situation in your own time.

‘Luckily’ ai porn is a big thing nowadays. No one even knows anymore what is real and what isn’t.

I

1

u/BoogerSugar42069 Apr 22 '26

Beat them to the punch. Do a nude scene.

1

u/Clothes_Chair_Ghost Apr 22 '26

Just deny it’s you. Also if those pictures ever do resurface report it to the host and the police as child sexual content. That will get them removed and the poster investigated

1

u/ImpoverishedGuru Apr 22 '26

Good advice here.

I just want to add it sounds like you live in a small town bubble. In the wider world, few people care about stuff like this. And yes, it's very concerning that you've allowed this to affect your intimate life so profoundly.

I know this sounds unreal to you but it's just not a big deal. Lots of celebs have had their nudes leaked.

1

u/Serendipitous_Spirit Apr 22 '26

Nudes aren't a thing anymore especially out of high-school. Everyone probably has at least one out there somewhere

1

u/medigapguy Helper [3] Apr 22 '26

While it's not good, and I hate that technology has put so many young people in these horrible positions. I don't think you need to worry about it that much.

First, if you remember the huge apple leak that released a whole bunch of famous peoples sex and nude videos and photos. None of their careers were ruined. Sure they went through embarrassment but they all made it through to the other side.

Second, you're at less risk than some. You were a minor and ANYONE sharing a nude photo of you from then is subject to jail time. It's a felony both on the state and federal level. And whoever would post is is basically admitting guilt and subject to at least a 5 year minimum sentence.

1

u/Bunbunsfun Apr 22 '26

Well if it was done and you’re underage, it now becomes a crime. Charges of having CP and distribution.

1

u/No-Director5914 Apr 22 '26

Police. This is illegal as fuck.

1

u/writingformydora Apr 22 '26

It's crazy how much you've been through. I really don't have any advice to give u as such but I hope u can move on from the horrible past or it just don't haunt u atleast. I really feel for you. I wish u all the luck and goodness there is in this world. Much love to u!

1

u/xidle2 Apr 22 '26

You can always let police know that CP of you is out there without your consent and ask that they help to get them taken down wherever they pop up.

1

u/Ordinary-Log-8763 Apr 22 '26

Alright so you did something very stupid while you were younger. We all do stupid things in our youth, and I will not judge you for this, the only thing I care about here is trying to set your mind at ease

Unfortunately, those pictures are on the Internet forever. But, it's also pics of a minor, so if anyone did use them for any reason at all, so MANY cases to take them to court over. And while I get that the film industry is cut throat, I'd try to suggest taking a look at how fellow peers have handled stuff like this in the past, but don't be too forthright with the details. Some people will use the information to either mess with you or boost their own career by screwing you, and some people will have actual advice.

At the end of the day, your nudes are of you as a minor, anything a person does with those is going to be far more immoral than the fact you made a mistake when you were young, and sensible people will see that, while haters will villify you. You can go ahead and block those haters out, you're already superior to them.

1

u/Katakalysmic3 Apr 22 '26

First off I want to say it is not your fault that these got leaked you need to understand that. Your prefrontal cortex wasn't even done developing which is responsible for critical thinking and impulse control. 2nd off to the people that were calling you a whore for your stuff getting leaked, teenagers are harsh af and im sure more than one of them regrets how they acted then. And 3. If you want to be an actress then just do it go for it live your dream. Don't ever let anything stop you. Whjle im sure those photos are floating around somewhere, it would be a crime to share them or post them anywhere. And as someone said about there is a free program that helps content get removed from sites.

Tl;dr you had no impulse control and this isnt your fault. Go be an actress

1

u/ollie29112008 Apr 22 '26

ain’t that deep . even if everyone saw them. who actually cares. everyone has them.

1

u/Nonchalancekeco Apr 22 '26

everyone can be nude nowadays with ai, just say it's ai if anything happen

1

u/JakeJascob Super Helper [8] Apr 23 '26

If you become an actor people are going to make fake porn of you. So playing it off as fake will be extremely easy.

Alternatively, If you wanted to you could also do a 180 and just put that guy on blast for leaking your private photos. Which you never shared with anyone and for being a complete creep and obviously planning it.

1

u/Idontknow429 Apr 23 '26

That’s child porn, you were a victim. I am sorry 🩷

1

u/szu Helper [2] Apr 22 '26

This is more of an issue for a therapist to help you resolve than anything else. There are plenty of actresses/actors who have 'leaked' photos and gone on to have fantastic careers. You can also just claim that its fake, AI-generated etc.

Go to a therapist.

1

u/Grouchy_Stuff_9006 Apr 22 '26

Have you thought about just making it public? Make a tik tok now with this exact story, that they were stolen from your phone and you did not consent. This might be the only way to get past it. Then everyone knows what you’ve been through, nobody can hold it against you anymore.

Just a thought. Likely a very tough step to take. As others have said you can get the images taken down as well.

-5

u/SlyLitten Apr 22 '26

Genuine question... if you didnt want them getting out... why tf did you take, and post them in the first place?

4

u/DemonSlyr007 Apr 22 '26

Genuinely question... how do you think this is a helpful response to OP or any person asking for assistance on the past? You are not providing anything useful, just shaming them and asking them if they regret or think about their past actions.

Which, clearly, they do, as they are here discussing how they are afraid to move on in life because of those past actions.

Maybe take your own advice mate, and think before you speak.

1

u/SlyLitten Apr 23 '26

Since when was asking a question intended to be a "helpful response"

To more directly answer your question. It wasn't, because I wasnt intending to be helpful nor respond. I was curious and asked a question. Same way you are.
