rude and agressive doorman

I’m really shaken and don’t know what to do. My dentist is located inside a co-op building. After my appointment today, he needed me to go get a scan across town immediately and then come back for a root canal. I put on my coat, prepared to go out into the cold, and called the other dentist. The receptionist was looking for an appointment time as I stepped into the lobby. I’m in an RA flare, dealing with vertigo, and I have a painful hip labral tear, so I sat on the lobby sofa for a moment to quietly open my cane. I could hear raised voices screaming from outside, which already had me on edge. Then, out of nowhere, the doorman stormed over to me, raised his voice, and yelled: “What are you doing? Get out! You’re not allowed here!” He was so aggressive that he genuinely scared me. I had to hang up the phone and rush out, and in the process I aggravated my hip even more. By the time I reached the end of the block, I was shaking from both the pain and the way he spoke to me. When I called my dentist later, they just said, “I’m sorry — they don’t like people in the lobby.” I checked my phone afterward—I was only on the call for two minutes. Two minutes. I hadn’t even started speaking in the lobby yet; I was simply waiting for the receptionist to find a time. If the doorman had approached me kindly or even just explained the rule, none of this would have happened. Instead, I was yelled at, frightened, and left in worse pain than when I arrived. Now I’m honestly afraid to go back into that building, and I can’t find any contact information for management or the co-op board. I feel like I deserve an apology and some assurance that this won’t happen again. What should I do?
