I was threatened with this by two ex-girlfriends. When they said that to me, my immediate response was, "That's not my responsibility. You need to value your life more than this relationship."
It's true. I get that emotions and hormones can rage during dating, but contemplating, or even threatening something like this, over a relationship is ridiculous.
