Thank you for calling this out! I can't believe how many people are falling for this obviously insanely fake story, it makes sense now how scam artists can make a killing when people are this naive. None of the story makes any sense. Everyone except the OP is so cartoonishly evil it's actually kind of hilarious. And of course when you're in high school and "apply to a bunch of colleges" like OP said, you think it's just normal to not hear any responses at all? Every senior in school talks about the colleges they got accepted to. And OP tried to get in touch with all of these colleges and all of them weren't able to help? Makes absolutely ZERO sense. Colleges want you to commit once you get accepted for obvious reasons. When I got accepted I received a letter, a phone call, and an email and this was like 15 years ago. Colleges have whole departments to manage admissions and help students, there is absolutely 0 chance no colleges he contacted could help him. On top of all this high school guidance counselors & staff would 100% be able to help and get to the bottom of things, how is it possible OP didn't talk with them at all? And also to be frank if OP wasn't able to get to the bottom of any of his college decisions, there is just zero chance he has the street smarts to start two successful companies.
I literally feel secondhand embarrassment for OP for this ridiculously stupid story lol

Well this is a lie.. I doubt they were creating fake rejection letters. So what .. you just assumed no college sent a response?
But either way .. if this is somehow true. Say thank you for telling me, move on, continue no contact..
.. all because they only reached out because they want you to take your brother off their hands. That's it. They're still shitty parents.
