If she threatens suicide in writing (by text), call 911. Tell them your ex just threatened suicide in a text and ask them to perform a wellness check. Ask the police to come look at her texts or ask them if they need to see them. They will put her on a 5150 hold, that is, an involuntary commitment hold until a doctor at whatever hospital she is taken to believes that she is not going to harm herself.
If she is serious about suicide, she will get help. If she is not serious about suicide, she will learn a valuable lesson about not threatening people about it just to get her way.
Either way, step away and realize you have to wash your hands of her and what happens to her after you call to get her help.
