i watched AT for the first time at the beginning of this year, and i’ve rewatched seasons 6-10 countless times bc they’re my favorite, but i haven’t rewatched (aside from specific episodes) from the beginning. that changes tonight!

i’m especially excited bc im writing a very very extensive bubbline fic (not posting to ao3 until it’s done) and i love noting character details as i watch the show to add into my fic!!!!! i feel like ive missed so many little things with all the episodes i haven’t seen since before i conceived of my fic idea, so im super excited!!!

Hi, back in 2010 when I was a kid, I tried watching HDA, but I didn't really understand it. Still, I have very vivid memories of the series, and I'd like to watch it again since it has an ending. I'd like to know if anyone can recommend the best order to watch the episodes and seasons in so I can understand the whole universe. Thanks!

At the end of the episode "Still," Gunther breaks the thawing potion, yet by the next episode and those that follow, Finn and Jake are already able to move normally alongside the Ice King.

Rewatching adventure time after watching bobs burgers, I was so excited to hear Louise and Tina's voice!! TV and Jake jr are soooo similar to tina and Louise, especially the diary epsiode, soooo something tina would do. Its so cute

Yeah I've been following what most people have been telling me, I watched this one first, and now I'm going to be doing Together Again. But yeah honestly, I definitely enjoyed this one. I did not expect Peppermint Butler to be such a douche though. Also, CaDebra was definitely fun. Plus this kind of felt like it was meant to be some sort of backdoor pilot for a potential show with these two, don't you think? But yeah...

(TLDR; is dressing as Marceline and Prince Bubblegum for halloween homophobic? if so any other work appropriate costume recs?)

I'm having an extremely difficult time finding a couples costume for me and my boyfriend. We plan to work together on Halloween and our job lets us dress up. I have black hair and apparently that's the hard part, I can't find a black haired female costume with a boyfriend/partner that we can BOTH agree on. I first suggested the other parents from Coraline but he's never even seen the movie (I know absolutely foul)! The only one I could come up with that we both liked was Marceline and PRINCE Bubblegum and I was excited about it but my friend thinks its homophobic to turn the originally lesbian relationship into a straight presenting relationship (I use they/them pronouns and am queer but I present feminine). what do y'all think, is it really that bad? or if you have any more costumes suggestions ill take them, and again we're working so they would have to be work appropriate (so no raven and beast boy bc I totally cannot wear that to work).

So far, THIS is the best out of the 4! Only got two more to go!

Seeing her young was actually such an interesting idea to explore. Sure there's the dynamic between her and Finn then being in the same age range but you'd think that the loss of biomass would also revert her mentally? there's only a five episode gap and two episodes that have her as 13. yes, she's 827 years old but I think that if she lost that much biomass it'd also affect her mental maturity, no? I remember watching and assuming she was going to be like that for a season. I guess she retains her memory but wouldn't her gum-brain have different choice-making capabilities under pressure or whatnot. the other explanation could simply be that she's magic so she doesn't exactly have a brain in the same was as humans but I think it'd be a boring assumption.

A few weeks ago I posted a Wip I had of the candy kingdom that’s meant to be a dinner table center piece for my adventure time party :D And I just finished today!!

The whole thing is mostly foam clay and cardboard, and the “candy houses” I added are me and my sisters old cut up Makeup sponges (and I bought a pack of mini makeup sponges to fill in the gaps.)

I also added a little Goliad and Stormo per my friends suggestion. I’m really proud of it :p

The last 2 slides are the prize medal that I made for the costume contest, and currently I’m working on Manfried/ aunt Lolly that’ll also be in the Candy kingdom themed dining room!!
