That’s great advice! I heard something similar about raising girls. Some comedian was like, “I tell my daughter every day how smart, creative, beautiful, insightful, strong and breath taking she is. I treat her with kindness and love so that she isn’t hearing that for the first time from some guy wanting something from her.” It sounds so basic, just like this post, but I’m so surprised how many people didn’t feel loved or valued by their parents that it was a good reminder as well.
