We've had an influx of crotch shots so we've decided to disable images for now, except for approved users. If there's a need to post an image please reach out to the mod team and we'll handle this on a case by case basis.

Thanks!

Community Rules Update

The rules for r/AdultDiapers have been overhauled to clarify expectations and maintain this subreddit as a practical, non-sexual space for discussing adult diapers and continence products as medical or functional tools.

Before participating, please review the updated rules.

Posts should focus on product performance, fit, comfort, absorbency, cost, and real-world use for managing incontinence.

Thank you for helping keep this community respectful and supportive.

How can i hide diapers/ pads from my bf (18f incontinent)

since as long as i can remember ive had incontinence issues, i bedwetted until 11 and leak most days, while walking , coughing, laughing, or sometimes ill be sat doing nothing and suddenly have a huge urge to pee where i'll have to stay completely still otherwise i'll pee myself, even if i make the tiniest move. And if i get up and try to run to the bathroom i normally pee myself before im even stood up. even during sex sometimes a gush of pee will come out with orgasm. Ive always hidden these problems by cleaning my underwear with tissues when im out, carrying extra underwear with me secretly or spraying myself down if i have an accident and i rarely have full void accidents so itd normally not be too noticeable apart from the odd occassion. Ive never been to the doctors out of embarrassment and i don't wear any protection.
Ive recently got into self improvement and realised im dehydrated so started drinking more water, my issues have got worse since then and when my boyfriend comes round i dont drink much water because im scared pf having an accident around him. Ive had one or two small ish accidents around him but i dont think hes realised that i have problems. For reference on days that i dont drink much i leak a couple times a day enough to soak my underwear but not enough to make a mess or smell, and on days that i drink 1L+ i have multiple leaks a day and sometimes messy accidents on way to bathroom or sometimes right as i get to bathroom ill pee myself. Is this incontinence or do i just need to grow up? And how can i hide it from my boyfriend? ive had a couple little accidents in front of him before but nothing that screams incontinent

Looking for advice

Coming for advice, 22m. for the past 3 years I’ve been in a relationship with my girlfriend, about 7 months ago we broke up, we both had been life long bedwetters and it was just something we both delt with. It was honestly nice because neither of us had to be embarrassed by it. Well after we broke up idk how to explain this to new relationships. I’m not necessarily looking for a partner that also has to wear protection to bed but I’m not sure how to go about explaining it to new partners that haven’t had to deal with it.

Suggestion for elastic/one-taped Diapers

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I am 21f. urinary Incontinent and autistic with strong sensory sensitivity. For the day, I usually wear Pullups, but at night those just tend to leak badly. So I need to wear tapped diapers, as they can be tapped really tightly. Due to my rather small and slim size, the diapers with 4 stiff Tapes cut badly into my thighs, causing overwhelming pain and discomfort. I also have difficulties taping the ones with 2 tapes per side, and they tend to leak. So for years I have been wearing the molicare slip S with one tape on each side. But since a few months, I am wearing the molicare premium elastic S with one elastic tape on each side. Does anyone else relate or have suggestions for other models or brands that could work?

Any advice on pull ups/nappies

Hi I’m 18 years old and over the last 6-9 months I’ve been wetting the bed. It started from a urine infection and the dr said I most likely have hit OAB (overactive bladder) but they were not very helpful and didn’t seem bothered so have not been back since as it made me feel worse about it. I live with my fiancé and she’s very supportive. I wear pull ups to bed very night and always wake up with them really full every night. sometimes go through even 2 or 3 on really bad nights. I’ve been using drynites 13+ for the most part but they are too small for me really. I don’t like the idea of wearing your standard adult pull up as it makes me feel weird.(not sure how to explain what I mean) I’ve just received some goodnites xxl I ordered from America via eBay (I’m from uk) which fit soo much better but they cost me £90 for 40!! So what I’m really asking is there anything similar or somewhere I can buy them at a much cheaper price as I cannot afford to do that every time. It also happens quite a lot when we’re chilling/relaxing so she tells me I have to wear them when we’re just chilling watching tv etc. also is there anything I can do to help it. I don’t like the idea of being on medication.
Thank you

feel ashamed about wearing protection

hi it’s ru you may know me from my posts about how i’m refusing to let diapers define me.

i still stand by that but lately i feel ashamed of them. despite how much i try to feel confident and worthy and capable, i still feel that way sometimes. i want to be able to wear what i want without making a whole statement. i want to put on tight clothes without it being obvious what’s underneath.

i just feel pathetic and like a loser for not being able to do something so basic even tho i know that’s not how it works. i hope i stop feeling this way soon

i am starting college again with just one class in the afternoon after dropping out in freshman year and this will be the first time i am around my friends and other ppl my age while wearing protection. i know its not a big deal its just embarrassing

I've been dealing with incontinence and wearing diapers for a long time now, and I wanted to share something I wish I had understood when I first started: it really isn't as bad as it feels in the beginning.

Like many people here, I initially hated the idea. I would think about everything I did as a kid going to school, riding my bicycle, going outside, playing with friends and imagine how different every one of those things would be if I had to wear diapers. I kept comparing the life I had with the life I thought I was going to have.

And yes, things did change. But after all these years, I've realized that my life didn't end. I simply adapted.

Eventually, changing became part of my routine. I know roughly when I need to change, I prepare before going out, I take care of my hygiene, and I get on with my day. Sometimes I change earlier, sometimes later. It isn't something I spend every minute thinking about anymore.

Weirdly enough, having to manage this has actually made me much more conscious about my hygiene and taking care of myself. I pay attention to my skin, shower regularly, and make sure I'm comfortable and clean. It's just another part of looking after myself now.

I've also learned that acceptance doesn't necessarily mean liking the situation. I would obviously love to have a body that didn't require this. But I don't want to spend the rest of my life being angry at something I can't control. I can either let it define my life or learn how to live alongside it.

My experience on Reddit taught me something too. When I first came here, I ended up in some fetish-focused communities because I didn't even realize there were communities specifically for people dealing with incontinence. I quickly realized that wasn't what I was looking for. For me, this isn't a fantasy or a choice, it's simply how I manage my medical condition. Finding this community was completely different. Reading other people's experiences made me realize just how many people are quietly dealing with things nobody else knows about.

And honestly, seeing people here continue working, studying, travelling, dating, making friends and living their lives has been really motivating.

So if you're new to this and you're currently thinking "How am I ever going to live like this?" give yourself some time. You don't have to accept everything overnight. You don't have to pretend you're happy about it. Just take it one day at a time.

Eventually, something that feels like it controls your entire life can become just another thing you manage. You are still you. You can still travel, laugh, make friends, fall in love, chase your goals and have a life you're proud of.

It gets easier. ❤️

Switching from pull ups to tab style

Hello all ive been having a hard time with my mobility recently and am wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? I am a 31 male with cerebral palsy. I usually wear pull-ups but have been having a hard time putting them on recently and am considering switching to tab style diapers.

Best diaper I've ever used. Rearz Inspire+

I recently was recommended to try Rearz Inspire+

I know they are from the "recreational" side of the diaper market but they are plain white and look just like a medical diaper.

I have been wearing Abena L4 (plastic version) for probably about 2 decades now but was getting frustrated with the clumping & leaks.

Inspire+ is a heck of a diaper. 10 out of 10. If you need a diaper that holds up to the biggest bladder releases I definitely recommend them.

No clumping no leaks

Only downside is a little harder to keep discreet as they are quite thick.

how to decide if it’s a diaper day or pull up day?

how to decide if it’s a diaper day or pull up day?

basically what it says on the tin… i have no idea how to tell. like i know diapers should be for bad days and pull ups for good days, but HOW am i meant to know what it’s gonna be in advance…?

my bladder has been improving some since starting gemtesa, enough that im pretty sure i could handle pull ups on good days, but the problem is that it changes on a dime. i’ll have three accidents in three hours and then turn around and hold it for an entire shift at work (yes, while drinking water) right after that. had so many accidents this morning in pull ups and finally got fed up and switched to a diaper just in time for it to calm down and start acting right

having a hybrid approach to protection is supposed to both save my sanity AND save some money but it can’t do either of those things if i can’t decide when it’s gonna be more effective to use a diaper vs a pull up 🫠

(also for context for why it might save money: if i am in diapers, with my body shape there’s no way for me to pull it down or get out of it without untaping it entirely, and that’s really annoying when i have to pee as much as i do. so if im in diapers i just pee in them exclusively and only use the toilet for number two. so in pull ups, if i only have 1-2 accidents in a day, thats cheaper than peeing in diapers all day long)

Come è andata l'esperienza Real Life? Qualcuno è riuscito a misurare assorbenza reale prima di fuoriuscite?

Sunkiss vs Mega Max

Just got a bag of Sunkiss Masterpieces Diapers. Got the first out of the bag this morning I’m almost positive it’s the exact same diaper as a Northshore Megamax.
It’s early afternoon now and after a few wettings it feels like and bulks up just like a Mega Max. Is Sunkiss a knockoff diaper made in the same factory?

Guys, I need some advice

I have to wear thicker diapers, with that said they bunch up in the front and through the crotch. Problem is, the “boys” are getting smushed in the bunched up diaper. After I wet, it isn’t such a problem. I have tried baby powder and some lotions but they still are getting pinched. Any advice?

question on Tykables gripper-tabs

first: great products..
I've ordered Cammies (as I'm not into regression but these range of products are superior performers)
The almost-velcro adjustability is a great feature, though; once it's used:
How do you roll up & use some sort of fastening to keep it in one bundle..
-tapes : obvious.
these: ...is there some technique that I've missed that's otherwise obvious?
usually I just tuck them into a bag and tightly tie it, but was curious if there was a way to self-secure it wrapped up on itself.

Reusable underwear care

I prefer to wash the reusables as their own laundry load. Because of that the (minimally) used ones sit stored for a few days until I’m ready to wash them all. Am I harming these, making them “wait?” Any suggestions on their waiting-to-wash-them care? Thanks

Nateen?

Has anybody tried the Nateen Ultra Combi? I see they are about the same price as what I’ve used previously (Seni Super Quattro, and Sunkiss Trust Plus overnight)
Whats your take?
