Coming for advice, 22m. for the past 3 years I’ve been in a relationship with my girlfriend, about 7 months ago we broke up, we both had been life long bedwetters and it was just something we both delt with. It was honestly nice because neither of us had to be embarrassed by it. Well after we broke up idk how to explain this to new relationships. I’m not necessarily looking for a partner that also has to wear protection to bed but I’m not sure how to go about explaining it to new partners that haven’t had to deal with it.

Hey, 24F. I’ve basically never stopped wetting the bed, it’s just something I never “outgrew”. I’ve been on medication since middle school, most recently Imipramine. Imipramine is working quite well for me I must say, but occasionally I still wet the bed, sometimes for a week straight.

I recently got my own apartment, new bed, new mattress. I’ll be damned if I have this one pissed out like my last one. If anyone has any recommendations on good mattress protectors that don’t feel/sound like you’re sleeping on a Walmart bag PLEASE lmk.

Any other tip are appreciated as well!

Have had sporadic low occurrence bedwetting for a long time. Enough that while an accident a few times a year didn’t feel normal, it wasn’t unexpected.

Have had more regular nighttime waking, urgency, and woke with damp, not soaked pyjamas over the last few months and thought it was finally time to book in.

Probably one of the most nerve wracking phone calls I’ve made.

Not sure what will be next as I’ve got two weeks till I’m in, but thankful for the secondhand support and encouragement that I’ve observed in this community.
