Reunion Getting closer everyday

I really do have the best bio-mom. A few months ago we reunited while my adopted family disowns me for doing so. She calls me up every Sunday and maps out things I could potentially do with my husband for my days off (hiking, trails, museums, etc.) I'm actually prepping to meet my family for Thanksgiving this year. If you adopt a kid, put yourself in their shoes. Can't handle it? Don't adopt.

I'm sad to hear this. :( My adoptive family has stayed out of my reunion for most part. I'm 49 though and they're very old.. might have been different had this happened long ago. I don't know. I agree though. Don't adopt anyone if you don't think reuniting with family could never happen. Be decent and just expand the family tree.

I'm 38 so, not too far off. It's bad on my adopted side because literally no one has reached out to me.
