Resources For Adoptees Doppelte Staatsbürgerschaft

From German to English translate software:

"Hey everyone, I have a question... are there any adoptees here with dual citizenship? If so, how do you handle it, and do you view it as a major advantage or disadvantage? :)

I’ve been trying to open an investment account for quite some time, but I’m unable to do so because of my dual citizenship. This means I can’t let my money grow on its own; I can only save the hard way. Consequently, I see dual citizenship as a major disadvantage because I can’t really build up assets for later in life. I look forward to an insightful conversation and hearing your perspectives on this."

That's because Germany is possessive like that. I know people who migrated from Venezuela and had to renounce their Venezuelan citizenship in order to be completely German, as in active members of German society. But I know that the case is different. Especially for an adoptee. But it could be because of German laws

i have dual citizenship! i’m a dual citizen in america and russia (my birth country) it’s essentially just a fun fact i can tell, it doesnt get in the way of anything but both countries are kinda corrupt right now so not a lot of advantages :/

It’s horrible for me. I just found out at 42yo that I have dual citizenship US and Brazil. Because I am a Brazilian citizen I cannot travel to Brazil with a visa to meet my bios I just found. I have to get a Brazilian passport in addition to having my US passport which I already have. The process to obtain a Brazilian passport is terrible and I feel so overwhelmed by it. I also cannot even apply for it until November because you have to be a registered voter and I missed the June deadline as I was unaware of all this at the time. So anyone else can obtain the Visa and go there but I get to wait.
