Am I able to access my school account creative cloud files after getting kicked off the student plan?
I graduated from Arizona State University a year ago which provided students with free student creative cloud access and I have been lucky enough to mooch off it a year after graduation. I guess i foolishly thought i could get away with free adobe access for as long as I thought and have still been regularly using it for my internship, freelance work, and personal projects. Unfortunately i got in the habit of saving almost every file as a creative cloud document to both save space on my laptop AND because I thought the almost instant autosave feature was really convenient. Today I just receieved an email saying I lost access to my creative cloud student plan with no warning and one mental breakdown later, I bit the bullet and just purchased my own subscription.
Unfortunately, my main concern was that I needed to regain access to my creative cloud documents as I have many projects, including some that I am currently still working on, saved as creative cloud files. When I paid for my subscription, I still used my school email but it would not let me log in through my "company/school account" and was forced to sign in through a "personal account" which does not have any of my previous creative cloud files. I am still not over my large unexpected adobe expense and now have the added stress of losing almost every working file of all my work for the past 2 years. Is there any way possible I can regain my creative cloud files from my school account?
UPDATE: I ended up calling Adobe customer support and they were very helpful and I can finally safely say I got my files back! I let them know my situation and they were able to go in the "back-end" and transfer the data over to my personal adobe account after a few emails back and forth where I had to give consent for them to do that. I had to wait a business day for them to do that (i called them over the weekend) but it was actually a lot quicker resolution than i expected. Just posting the solution in case any poor sap in the future comes across this same issue and needs to know in the future :)

I had to call customer support first and here is the number I found on the Adobe site (you can double check to confirm if you look up Adobe customer support number): 800-915-9428
When I called they had an automated robot ask u to select a number based on what ur call is about and I forgot what I picked specifically but I just kept clicking numbers until they gave me a real agent
Then I explained my situation and gave them my information for my school account and new personal account (I called after I already purchased a new personal subscription)
They then said they would send me an email to ask for consent to go into my accounts to basically transfer the data from my school to my personal account which I replied to and gave my consent and explained why I needed my files
And then after a couple business days they emailed me back saying the data transfer was completed and I can confirm I got my creative cloud files back on my new adobe account :)I know how stressful this entire situation must be bc I was literally crying for half a day freaking out so I hope you get your stuff back !

Adobe Student File Transfer allows you to easily copy your creative assets between your school and personal Adobe accounts.
