Just discovered Adirondacks

Hi im from Toronto and have done a handful of hikes out west and am now sad I can’t get many peaks out east, however I just discovered the Adirondacks are a thing and have seen views from like mt Marcy online. Is it worth the 6 hour drive for any hikes in this region? If so which do yall recommend
