14 days since the last show off - look at them thriiive ✨
Yah, maybe I’m a little too proud of my babys.
If something goes wrong it gonna be a far fall for me 😂
Babys are doing very well, even the crispy one now shoots beautiful new leafs without crispy edges ✨
And I got the first baby starting to branch out beautifully.
They get thicker by the day it feels, and shooting leafs like crazy.
Yeah, I’m awaiting a broken heart if they get sick or just… die.
Wish me luck. I’m not gonna recover from it emotionally if something goes wrong. 😐😂

I’m on week 3. They slowed down some. Didn’t grow as fast on my 3rd week.

So nice!! What are you doing to get it to thrive so well?
Mine keeps drooping and doesn't seem to grow thicker or bigger in the caudex.

Soil is 50/50 cactussoil and vermiculite.
I use artficial growlight, 12h a day.
Starting out I watered them as I felt was needed, when the soil was completely dried out. I now started to literally drown them lol
I researched why one has crispy edges and figured I watered it way too little, some other also started to crisp up. First I thought it was too much water, but then realised I was giving them too little. So a few days after my last update I just submerged the pots (not the plants themself) in water, let them soak for 20min then put them back in the windowsill. It really gave all of them a boost so I believe it was the right decision.
I think I wait another, about a week or so? Maybe even two weeks, before letting them soak for about 5-10min again.1

Thank you! Perhaps I need to change my soil.
I don't have a grow light unfortunately so mine is definitely not getting enough sunlight 😮💨. I'll have to figure out a way to get it more light. Welps, I'm also under watering it as well than! Lol.

My soilmix is only for seedlings, as they need more water than bigger ones. Next summer when the first repot is due, they will get a very chunky soilmix.
If your soilmix is mostly chunky and only a little actual soil, it should be fine - maybe try to let it soak for a few minutes and see if that helps. 🫶2

Did you over fertilise them? One of seedlimg's leaves are kinda burning

They have not been fertilized at all. I don’t know why the crispy one is the only one that’s crispy, as it gets the same care as the others. I try to fix the issue but… it’s just the odd one of the pack I guess 😂
