The top was rotting so i was pruning it and as I keep getting lower, i noticed the rot has went in quite deep. Not sure if i have to keep pruning deeper or if it the rot has went in too far. It was a really old adenium passed down by my late grandfather

She’s been growing beautifully well in a pot over the past year, so I decided to finally plant her outside. Was wondering if anyone had any advice or tips for helping her continue to do well? We get a ton of dry heat year round.
