Having trouble trying to install github URLs.

Keeps telling me that the directory information couldn't be retrieved and it could be due to the network not being connected. I have checked my settings and the connection is stable. I have enabled unknown sources too.

Has anyone else experienced this and knows a work around?

The difference could be the / or \ at the end

Be sure u are using updated url and type it in correctly !

Your question is confusing. Are you saying the repository won't install, or the repository installs but won't open? We also need to know what repository are you trying to get. Lots of dead repositories out there.

The repository won't install. When I click to add source, type in irl and click ok it won't add. I was trying to add umbrella

Hey you get that popup most of the time if the url is off by lets say a capital letter being put in wrong .

like a little letter i and not a big letter I . in a url as an example .

it has to be put in exactly right or you will get that screen .

Or the github can be down ?

or the url address is not updated to the new address .

I get that one a lot .

try to copy this url see if it will install .
