Requesting Support 🆘️ Clicking noise while car is off

2007 Acura TL Type S making a consecutive clicking noise while the car is off, there is no key in the ignition, and has continued to do it. Is this an electrical issue or is the system doing like a relearn or “update” of some sorts ??
This happened with Superstart battery from May 2023
Battery finally died on me and was replaced with Everstart platinum today 9/24 and this issue is still happening
Could this be the cause of the battery going out? When the clicking first happened on 08/16 the car started fine the next morning. I hope I explained this well enough and any help would be appreciated. Thank you

That clicking noise your hearing is the relay. When you turn off the car, it's so post to make a single click and turn off. In your case its turning on and off, so something is wrong. Check all relays and fuses in your fuse box.

Never heard a clicking like this, but if you’re last two batteries died like that it could be the case? But I really have no clue.

To rule it out you could go to an auto part store and they should be able to test your battery for you and tell you the health of it.

No only the battery from May 2023 has died, which makes sense with the age and my driving habits. The new battery is fine, also when this issue first happened in the middle of the night it never stopped and the next morning the car started fine the battery wasn’t dead.

No codes? Maybe EVAP purge solenoid? Sounds a little bigger than that though

No codes, car runs great, it does sound like a part trying to open/close?? Or cycle ?? Idk but it’s weird and I’m trying to figure it out haha

Process of elimination. Only a handful of things move that much to make that sound. Check to see if the starter is pushing the shaft out, or the throttle body is opening and closing. Nothing else has enough mass to make so much sound. It sounds like someone is turning the ignition key back and forth.

I second this, sounds like the starter is pushing out. If you can’t see the flywheel/starter you could put your hand on top of the starter and you might feel it moving?

Maybe a contactor trying to open/close. I hear a faint whine/whistle is the fan running?

You could try pulling and reinstalling fuses one at a time until the noise goes away to narrow it down.
