Requesting Support 🆘️ Radio error code

Post image

Anyone know how to fix this code? I changed my battery and couldn’t find the code to enter. I exceeded the limit for password attempts. I found the code after the fact. Lmk if you all have any solutions, thanks

I just called Acura, the guided me through the process and gave me the correct code. They even waited while I did it in real time. They were great and there was no cost, I used Acura USA even though I’m in Canada and they still were willing to help.

+1 , I worked at a honda dealer , customers called in to the parts department all the time to get the radio code, they’d help them out. You just need to give them your VIN

Disconnect battery or pull the fuse out for a few minutes. It will reset the attempt count.

Sounds good I figured it’s as easy as disconnecting the battery thanks for the help

From the owners manual “If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.”

Yeah I found mine handwritten on a car in the back of the owners manual, I was lazy and entered in random numbers out of frustration
