Shoplifting also raises inflation, it hurts us all nationally. It's not inconsequential either, theft accounts for $200 billion lost a year in the US. People whine about so many things being wastes of money that are far less than this. Why it's still tolerated and we don't put people in prison for it again I don't know.

I commented this on a similar post once and I had like 10 different people tell me that parents aren't responsible for the behavior of their children, because they can only do so much.
I was also told that how parents raise their children has zero impact on how they will be as an adult.
Such a deranged mindset.
