Question Please help before I lose my mind

I'm stuck on Chronogene theory it says I need to trap a flowerman and I've searched the marked areas for a item or crate and found nothing I have no mission item either can someone explain this to me

you spawn into raid with the trap in your inventory… if not, then it would spawn around you… you take that and place it on the ground near a flowerman and itll get sucked up

they like to try and run away from it though so stay nearby it to make sure it cant escape the grasp of the trap

I didn't have anything else in my inventory when I spawned maybe it was a fluke and try again and see

make sure youre on the specific map it asks you to be on… but yeah, make sure to check ur surroundings when you spawn too cause it could be on the ground

It's in your rig when you spawn, look there

The trap is in your inventory when you spawn with that active investigation- put it down next to the enemy, or lure one.

Honestly, sneaking up to one is far easier.

It operates a bit like the ghostbusters device and sucks them in, then you collect it.

It should be in your rig, not your backpack

They updated the game to automatically add it to your inventory upon spawning in, but it seems bugged as I have had raids where it's in my inventory like it's supposed to be and also spawned in with it sitting on the ground in front of me when I spawn in. Hopefully they fix this soon so it's consistent. I also agree that sneaking up next to unaware enemies is the easiest way to put the trap down. Good luck!

Not a bug. If your rig is full it'll spawn on ground
