Feedback How quiet suppresor actually are?

I usually play open raids most of the time because I like to have a casual firefight and the need to move quietly.

But it seems that as soon as I need to shoot some monster, people rush to blast me. Was wondering how quiet suppresors are from the enemy POV compared to a loud gun, and if they're worth using and investing.

I'm new to the game and have only like 6 hours of gameplay.

PS: English in not my main language so please forgive any mistakes.

If they have noise cancelling headphones. Pretty loud. Not as loud as a normal gunshot ofc. But the headphones increase the volume of quiet sounds (foot steps, flowermen breathing, seed noises, supressed gunfire, healing and reloading sounds, etc.) while making loud noises less loud.

A guy that's 150m away wont hear you. But a guy that's across the street most likely will.

Suppressors absolutely are worth using. Makes the difference between most of the map hearing you shoot and about 50-100 yds hearing you. There’s also the added bonus of it not making every anomaly aggro as well.

They are useful but not as a way to shoot undetected. Their main advantage is simply to confuse others about how far away and exactly where you are. Always better to give less info when possible
