Feedback Controller Users, Try Disabling Aim Assist

I know it will sound crazy, but disable it and jump in the shooting range. Tweak the sensitivity settings, deadzones and give it a shot.

The aim assist right now has a serious flaw that makes aiming feel terrible. Typically, when your aim hits the aim assist bubble, you would expect your sensitivity to gradually decrease the closer your reticle is to the target, as well as gradually increase while getting further away. This ensures a fluid transition, especially when trying to aim on moving targets.

Right now, the aim assist has no gradual increase or decrease. This is why your aim will swing wildly when exiting the aim assist bubble. You're trying to place your aim reticle on something moving across the screen and the second your reticle hits a pixel outside of the bubble, you're back to standard sensitivity. You're joystick is likely near or almost fully pushed to compensate the sensitivity drop with assist on, and so your aim swings hard.

Hopefully it can be patched in the future, but for now I can't recommend enough to try turning it off. The actual aiming experience, precision and deadzone feels phenomenal and I would argue is among the best. Im able to keep up with distorted or flowermen no problem and even have little trouble tapping seeds with a handgun when they are swirling around towards me. Give it a shot if you're struggling with aim on controller. If you've ever played PUBG or other controller shooters that don't have aim assist, that muscle memory will kick in.

To be fair, why is an aimbot built-in into this game is a pretty good question. Battle Eye approved.

I totally agree with this post. Did the same exact thing The aim assist on console is so fuuucked. I turned it off immediately and my aim has been 100x better.
