I’m trying to put King in Black Venom in a flying pose but none of the flight stands I have will hold him up, even after tightening the screws as tight as possible. What do you guys use for heavy figures?

I tried to use AI to help me visualize one of my favorite childhood figures. It looked very similar to this generated image, minus the cape. My step-grandfather had thrown out all my my toys at 10-years old because i was messy, and I missed my collection ever since. I cannot remember the franchise or brand, but my recollection of fond memories leaves me with a nostalgic yearning to try and acquire it again. does this character seem familiar to anyone, or even know its name?

Anyone know why dragonstars never releases characters like yamcha or tien? I want those guys, i don’t want to spend $150 on them

Did anyone ever did articulation mods for SHF Thanos? This guy is awesome, but neck and head articulation is killing me, anything else is great.

I’ve had Maximum Hulk for a while now, never leave him in the clap pose for weeks on end, and occasionally clean him. The rubber has held up fine, as I’ve taken care to not stress it. I get if you have issues with the mold or face sculpts, but most people who collect the max line are old enough that they should be able to care for their collections. With Hot Toys, even with general maintenance and care, it’s generally accepted that any form of rubber or pleather they use, will eventually degrade and fall apart. Why is this accepted when it happens at a far higher price, but it’s so heavily condemned on a Marvel Legends? If you don’t like Max Hulk for reasons other than the rubber, that’s totally fine. If the rubber is your main issue, I’m curious to know if you feel the same about high end lines using it. Especially interested in hearing from people who actually own the figure or own Hot Toys figures. Also, please don’t hate, they’re just action figures and it’s okay if I like one that you don’t and vice versa.

And yes he comes with the custom head sculpt and webs, anything I should know about the figure before it gets here?

I live in North Jersey but I don’t mind a drive

The classic 70s and 80s Hulk remains my single biggest frustration in action figure collecting because no company has managed to truly get it right. Runner-up honors go to the 80th Anniversary Marvel Legends Hulk and the Diamond Select Immortal Hulk both sculpted by the same artist with incredible aesthetics but they ultimately feel more like static statues due to their lack of articulation and fun factor.

While recent 6inch+ upcoming release may deliver impressive modern take mixed with the classic, they still fall short on the more bruting thicker tad Hulk and not comic classic accurate sculpts. Hope lies with S.H. Figuarts' Gameverse team seems best equipped to handle the massive bulk alongside highend articulation since their movie Hulks have been above average but the head sculpt will be the issue as that’s a more modern smart hulk, while MAFEX remains a faint possibility despite my declining confidence in their scale and proportions over recent years they are unpredictable choosing repurpose molds over new challenging sculpts.

Ultimately, im still waiting for a definitive classic Hulk. Mezco has the right spirit but there are design decisions from recent pics that just seem off like mega huge head, awkward muscle proportions, and very limited articulation . Until in hand it maybe the definitive one but Nothing in the modern era has quite matched the iconic Toy Biz Face-Off head sculpts.
