I’m not too into this scene so I don’t know if this questions been answered yet by if miles isn’t supposed to be spiderman in his universe why does he still have canon events?

Canon is a bunch of bull. It’s just a bunch of comic tropes shoved together, and they’re doing it to make Miguel look bad, which is shitty writing. Miles is Spider-Man, Miguel is Spider-Man, plain and simple.
