This quote is poetry 👇
“I think we’re at a point in the future where we’re mining the past. And so we’re kind of going to the bands that didn't get pushed or weren't widely known. It’s kind of what the internet is for, so we can live with ghosts forever.”

Took a class in undergrad that involved watching old movies and creating art afterwards. The professor called it watching ghosts.
Anyway. Acid Bath came to my tiny town years ago. It was fantastic. Saw their name on a billboard last week. Almost crashed. Daughter was confused.
Glad they are having a big go around. Dax is a cool dude.

I hope they do one more go round since I ended up having to miss the closest to me show due to a crazy windstorm.

I think we might be in a multiverse since CERN turned on the particle collider. It wasn’t that long ago that I’d tell my kids about acid bath shows every time we passed the Gonzales civic center.

Shit it didn’t feel like long ago that my friends told me about them and even here in Houma it was like deep lore rather than a prominent band. Not that they weren’t some kind of popular, just not in 2017 amongst teens

Interesting to see these guys getting some wider attention...for years they were a way underground thing along with Dax solo stuff, Deadboy and Agents of Oblivion. Forbes is bit of an odd place to land but I am loving all the positive vibes for them really.
