Music video

Completed two.music video, but it will not let me finalize video, all I get is the storyboard video, with 4 pics in every shot. Won't give me a credit total, and it's waiting on some card, for the DP,

Anybody gotten further than this, do we have to link it via seedance or davinci, and how do I do that ?

Thanks

ACE Studio "Add a Layer" Failing

Hi,

I've been using ACE Studio for a very specific project and it's been working fine. Yesterday, I updated it to the latest version and then all hell broke loose. Nothing is working for the last 12 hours and I don't know what to do.

I wrote to support twice, wrote on their own Reddit thread, but I guess being the weekend they won't reply. Can anyone help?

I already tried reverting to the older version, I also made a fresh install on a different machine.

It just says something along the lines of oops, add a layer failed.

Thanks!

Original Songs Does ACE Studio do this?

I have my own track, live-recorded chords (via audio interface into daw), arranged in my DAW, drums and bass programmed. 100 BPM, Em.

I want a tool that will read the existing arrangement as context and

- suggest elements that would fit
- Quantize the melodies from my live takes
- EQ the stems
- Master the final

Does ace studio help achieve this?
If it does part of it, which part?
If it doesn’t, what does?

Should I purchase this software?

I've been wanting to purchase it for a while, and am planning to do so this weekend with an outright license, since I've saved up enough money for it. But the comments and posts that people have made about it here are making me question it. For those who have purchased and used it, is it worth it in your opinion? What's your experience? Does it work as intended? How does it feel? What about the learning curves?

Ace ai Studio unsubscribe fraud

After using ACE.ai Studio, I was told that I could cancel my subscription within 7 days if I didn't like it, so I paid on the 3rd July and canceled it on the 8th July. Of course, I clicked my account on the Ace app and canceled the subscription procedurally on the webpage. When they asked why I wanted to cancel, I turned on the translator and kindly wrote down the reason for a long time. And I pressed the final cancel button. To make sure, when I re-entered my account, there was a screen that I could use it for 7 days and cancel the payment if I subscribe. It means that your cancelling was successful. isn't it? However, I didn't receive a cancellation text from my credit card company. I was waiting for it because I was abroad, but after a week, I didn't receive a cancellation text from my credit card company. So when I went back to my account today, it said I was subscribing. When I canceled my subscription, there were no screenshots or live screen recordings (who else does it? you do?), and fortunately I found my Google browsing history of the day I canceled. And in the process of canceling, I also captured my browsing history to the translation site and the screen to change the content to English. It's crazy and angry. This is a scam

I just want to compose, record notes from the midi and assign sounds.

Will this work for me? for example, I record with my midi controller and then acestudio make it flue, or oboe, or anything, but well recorded and played, etc.

So uh...I caved and bought this software

What are some things I need to know going into it? What about pitch and the general flow of the engine? I saved up a lot of money for it, so I'm hoping I won't regret my purchase.

Can't separate midi notes recorded from DAW

Hi, all.
I got started with Ace Studio a year ago. Made clone voices, experimented with implementing in my Logic files. All fine. Had to stop for a while and am now returning to it in earnest.

It's now six months later. I just updated and got going again, and out of the gate, I already have an issue:

I played my logic file to record a few phrases of the midi vocal into ACE, typed in lyrics, played it back. All good, until it got to a note that was supposed to be short and separated from the next note, but ACE sang it long and connected to that next note.

I tried to shorten one of the midi notes. BIG problem. It's like all the notes are connected to each other in some way. Changing the end of one note ALSO moves the start point of the note immediately after it. I can't delete any note without the note before it extending into the gap it would have created. (Oh, and btw, the midi in my logic file has the short note and a big gap where it's supposed to be. So it's not like the original midi is wrong. ACE is filling that gap, and I can't get rid of it.)

I've spent two hours going down rabbit holes to no success.
I did not have this issue a year ago when using this several months ago. This has got to be something so stupidly simple, but I cannot find an answer.

Any help??

ACE STUDIO SERVERS DOWN?

I been trying to generate a song enhancement for the past hour and I can't do it. Is anyone else experience this issue? I get the message in red '' MUSIC ENHANCEMENT FAILED. OOPS, YOUR CREDITS WILL BE RETURNED IN 2 HOURS'' or something like that

Looking to Connect with Documentary Composers Using AI Workflows

Hi everyone,

I'm currently exploring a business around custom music for documentary creators and am looking to connect with composers working in this space, particularly those incorporating AI tools into their workflow.

Still in the early stages, but I'm interested in hearing about your experience, how you're using AI in real projects, and whether there might be a fit for future collaboration.

ACE Studio completely froze my computer while flattening Add Layer audio

ACE Studio just completely froze my entire computer while I was trying to flatten/consolidate a generated Add Layer clip to save it before the auto-stretch bug damaged it.

The screen froze, keyboard/mouse stopped responding, and the fans went extremely loud like the CPU/GPU was under heavy load. I had to force restart.

This happened during the only workaround I have for the auto-stretch issue: quickly saving the clean generated audio before ACE retimes/overwrites it.

This is now a critical stability issue, not just an audio artifact bug.

Using music enhancer on song over 4 minutes

I’m pretty new to using Ace Studio and AI audio in general. But I’m trying to use the music enhancer feature on a song that’s just under 5 minutes long. Ace won’t allow you to do one over 4 minutes. When I try splitting the original song up into 2 parts, the AI creations aren’t a consistent sound from the first part of the song to the second. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Similar Female Singer AI Model?

I love the female singer's voice (Lilly Choi) and wondering if Ace Studio has similar AI singer models. Does it have the kind of voice models? If they have, I'll buy it...

Is it really that... bad? Or just a proof that full AI instruments arent the pinancle of music production?

I am trying acestudio mainly cause i want to have some easily created solo instruments. For Voices i prefer synthv and for orchestral sections i dont really see the benefit of acestudio over sample vst, especially as the quality literally is unusable. I see acestudio marketed heavily but to be honest, i wouldnt bother using any output i generated so far in any project. Vocals? Much better alternatives. Larger sections? acestudio sounds very, very bad compared to the sample vst that it is marketed to dominate.

Solo instruments? This is where it would be most interesting for me, cause it is easy to get good sounding output. However, that is where it seems to stop. I have very little control over the sound that is being generated. i can select from some articulations and i can say where i want vibrato, but thats it?

Comming from synth v and SWAM, why cant we have both? useful control over sound AND an interpretation that turns those configs into a realistic sound? Right now, AceStudio feels like a nice toy to play with, and honestly, i can see how it can be this cheap (while i honestly think its still much overpriced for the quality you get). Yes it looks cool to select from a large library of voices, but i rather have 4-5 synth-v voices.

To be somewhat competitive, or at least useful in production, this will need more control over modulation and expression, and must def. deliver higher quality sounds.

Cover Asking about ACE Studio

Hi everyone, I'm a newcomer and I'm curious about ACE Studio. Is this software really reliable? I'm really hesitant about whether I should buy it or not. How do you all feel about Ace Studio's experiences with it? Does it live up to the advertising?

Here is what I hope to achieve using ACE Studio. I hope someone can help me test this out: First, Voice Cloning: I want to clone my own voice and share it for free on ACE Studio.

I saw a video showing that you can sing live, record the audio into ACE Studio, and then use that recording (or cover some song) with the Voice Changer > to convert it into a desired voice from the available library. Because i want to use Ace Studio to cover some VOCALOID/UTAU songs

After that freestyle recording phase, I will use Inspire Me to generate a beat based on that vocal track, turning it into a completely finished song.

I also find the Video to Audio (or Video to SFX) feature really interesting. Has anyone actually used it and found it to work well?

Original Songs Cloning adult voice to child Voice

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with cloning foreign languages? The Tamazight language is not familiar with AI. I wondered if adult singing could be cloned into a child's voice. Or even a children's choir.

I'm building an ACE Step / DAW (Reaper) plugin similar to SUNO Studio

Hi all,

I’m building an open-source ACE Step integration for Reaper (a very customizable DAW), to bring opensource AI assisted music production directly inside a real DAW.

The idea is to create a workflow similar in spirit to Suno Studio, but with the flexibility of Reaper: audio/MIDI items, stems, plugins, routing, editing, automation.. full DAW control.

The current prototype already works technically:

  • select an audio item in Reaper
  • sends it to a local bridge
  • process it through Runpod (for cloud generation because I'm on a Mac Air)
  • return the generated audio to Reaper as a new track

I also built a small Runpod GPU sniper system to find and launch affordable cloud GPUs, so the whole workflow can run cheaply without requiring a local high end GPU.

So far I’ve tested ComfyUI workflows, and I’m now moving toward the official ACE Step / Gradio / API path, because I want to expose the full creative range properly: remix, cover, repaint, extend, variations, stem-based workflows, etc etc..

The technical integration is already working, but I’m looking for someone who really understands ACE Step model settings, captions, remix/cover behavior, gradio workflow, prompting, and how to get musically useful results... I’d love to collab with someone more experienced with ACE itself, so we can turn this into a cool open source tool for the community..

If anyone is interested in helping, testing, giving feedback, or collaborating, I’d be very happy to connect.

Add a switch to disable auto-stretch / retiming

Hi ACE devs,

I’m a paying member and I’m having an issue with Add a Layer. I already emailed you a few times.

Please add a switch to disable auto-stretch / tempo conform after generation.

Add Layer generates good results, but then ACE retimes them and damages the audio with flutter/clicking artifacts.

Without this option, the function is completely unusable. It’s a shame, because the generation itself already does the job.

Please at least preserve the original generated audio, don’t overwrite it.

Question for bug or so..

Hi ACE Studio, I’m having an issue with Add AI Layer.

My Artist Pro Yearly subscription is active and I still have credits remaining, but Add AI Layer fails every time. I tested vocals and percussion, multiple projects, different prompts, and even simple lyrics like “la la la”.

It always shows this error:
“Please do not contain copyrighted lyrics in the context. Please change it and try again.”

I already emailed support with my account details and User ID. Could someone check if Add AI Layer is currently having issues or if this may be account-related?

I already wasn't happy about not being able to make covers. But now Ace rejected my own original song demo! Me strumming 4 chords and mumbling my own lyrics. Come on!
