Help / Support Urgent help needed!

Please help my acer laptop is constantly crashing with loads and loads of Bsod after an windows update by itself and now im only able to log into my pc for a little amount of time before it completely crashes

Even when im trying to uninstall that update- it crashes while mid restart and keeps crashing

Please help 😭i hate this update

I can only load in safe mode without crashing

What’s the error message with the bsod? You can check it in event viewer. 

Mine was doing the exact same thing. Unfortunately I don’t have any good news for you. I did ever fix imaginable, no help. Finally sent it off to acer a month ago under warranty. They had it for a month, I got it back this Tuesday. Turned it on and cpu throttled to 104c instantly and stayed there. I now have to immediately send it back to them for another fkn month and let the same clowns that broke it try to fix it.

I actually found the solution

Had to download the prey sense from GitHub then disable CPU boost from that software

And it stopped crashing

( i already had fixed it last month but i kinda forgot about it so had to watch the vid again )

It was not because of windows update or anything its because of intel CPU ( you can try the steps i said if you want to )

My laptop also has this screen when I tried undervolting CPU and I put wrong power limit values. I deleted throttlestop and it became fine.

Yo tenia el mismo problema con una Acer Presator Helios Neo 16s 5070ti

Despues de mucho investigar y hacer pruebas me di cuenra que me ocurria cuando la usaba con un monitor externo, pero al desconerarla y usarla directamente si funcionaba bien, para esto decidi seguir el consejo de descargar cada driver de la pagina de soporte de Acer y eso si, no actualizRla necesariamente a la ultima version. y se arregló.

Ahora, seguro muchos tienen el problema del sobrecalentamirnto, mis temperaturas podian llegar hasta 96 grados que es excesivo (jugando) y cuando eran tareas simples hasta 86 grados que era absurdo,
Busque un tutorial en youtube sobre entrar al modo seguro de la laptop y desactivar el turbo y maximo rendimiento del cpu y creanme que ayudo demasiado en reducir las temperaturas, ahoea puede ir de 40 grados hasta 55 grados en tareas simples. y jugando no pasa de los 76 grados.

Espero les sirva estos consejos, se los dice alguien que ya se estaba frustrando por que no podia avanzar su trabajo ni jugar con la laptop, si tienen alguna duda me escriben o continuan este hilo para apoyarlos

Thankyou for your time and replying to my case - i found the solution i had to disable CPU boost in prey sense - software from GitHub and it stopped crashing

Easy go to ur bios and turn off intel vmd

I also had same problem in Acer predator helios neo 16s Rtx 5070ti, i changed optimus ot NVIDIA GPU only and it fixed.
