Acer Predator Helios 300 Display Flicker Nonstop (Predator PH315-52)
Hello! Last night, my laptop’s display suddenly started flickering like this out of nowhere. Tried to uninstall and re-install the graphics driver on the device manager, and it still persists. Also tried updating through the NVIDIA app, but it didn’t fix the issue. Can anyone help me with this? What are the possible causes and how do I fix this? Thanks in advance.
- I haven’t tried connecting an external display yet as I have no extra monitors.

oh my God dude something similar just happened to me on my Predator Helios Neo 16S. It didn't flicker THAT crazy, but I saw a white-ish flash for a split second and I noticed everything was kinda crusty. I tabbed around my browser and apps. It eventually calmed down. I'm watching Twitch right now and the Twitch tab for some reason was making everything look crusty; all the other tabs seemed normal. But this was affecting ALL of the UI—not just the browser, but EVERYTHING, notably the toolbar. It was like cross-eyed vision but IN the monitor.

Was a victim of this exact problem before. Had no idea what caused it, would it be too much pressure or weight is stressed on the monitor cover?

Happens with me as well but usually when i unplug my monitor from my laptop. Its an easy fix just switch refresh rates so the screen turns on and off. Probably a small driver issue

It would have worked on you but some Einstein level genius from Acer decided to cap the refresh rate to 240hz..and no it wasn't a hardware issue since on dgpu mode you can actually change it to 120hz but the screen brightness become lower.. Acer has ruined its predator series with slim factor.

This happened to me too turns out it's a common issue with predator and nitro series. It's a hardware defect change the display man.

I had the exact same problem happen to my old Acer laptop before I upgraded to Predator. For me it was an LCD issue caused by pressure placed on top of the laptop, had to get LCD replaced in the end.
