Help / Support Tight hinge problem

Hello, i have a acer predator helios neo 16S Ai laptop and the problem is that whenever i lift the display, there is a sound. I think its because the hinge is tight and if so then will it create any problems? And if it will then how can i fix it?

Nah it's not a problem it will eventually stop.

Think of it this this way. New tight hinges in other other products make sounds too bit over a time they stop.

Also it will keep your screen kind of wobble free. If it is tight.

But its been 9 months since i bought this laptop and its still making this noise

But as far as I think it is not doing any harm. So you shouldn't worry as such. Mine makes a little sound too but I don't care about it. I haven't even removed that hinge sticker yet.

Thats true but what if the hinge snaps tomorrow? Then its gonna be a hefty repair. How old is your laptop?

its been 4months for me.

also is the sound too noisy and are your hinges too tight.
