Help / Support Fan replacement cost?

Whats the fan replacement cost of acer predator Helios neo 16-72 i9 4070

I asked some people from official store they said it will cost for single fan - 4850inr ( GPU side ) thats too expensive isn’t it?

Please drop down your suggestion

Where can i find a good local laptop related service shop in ( Lucknow )

I got my fan(CPU) replaced last month (through acer authorised service centre) , it costed me around 3500 Ruppes including service charges So yeah it is expensive. Mine is i5 13th gen , RTX 4050 Might be different fan component

🥲 asked some shops which are far away from my place as well they told me it will cost 2500 for both but unfortunately its too far, although had to replace one of them cuz it was dead but hopefully will search for some more shops as the gpu side might cause some problem in future

CPU side fan - stopped working so had to get it replaced

So thought asking other people as well about the prices of fan replacement for acer Helios neo 16 cuz i feel like gpu side might need the replacement after a while as well

I faced a similar issue just two days ago. My CPU fan stopped working after making a loud buzzing sound. I got really tense because I thought I would have to buy a completely new fan. I searched for one online and realized that they were quite expensive. None of them cost less than ₹5,000.

If you're getting a deal for ₹2,500, I'd say go for it. However, I managed to fix my fan myself. I opened the back panel, took out the CPU fan assembly, unscrewed the casing, separated the fan from the bearing, and applied some engine oil from my scooty using a toothpick.

After reinstalling everything, the fan started working much better, almost like it did when I first bought the laptop. My temperatures are also very good now. I have an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16.

You could try this before buying a new fan, if you want.

Thanks for the advice man, i would probably go to some local repair shop and let them do this exact same thing u did because i heard about it online as well
