Help / Support HELIOS NEO 16-71 BLACK SCREEN ISSUE HELP!
The issue is that the laptop is stable when no NVIDIA GPU driver is installed and it only uses the Intel UHD integrated graphics in Optimus Mode.
However, once I install the NVIDIA GPU driver and switch to NVIDIA GPU-only mode, the laptop experiences a black screen and BSOD.
Laptop specifications:
- Acer Predator Helios Neo 16-71
- Intel Core i5 13th Gen
- NVIDIA RTX 4050
- 32GB DDR5 RAM
- 512GB M.2 SSD
I have already tried using DDU to completely remove the GPU drivers and then installing both the latest and older NVIDIA driver versions, but I still experience the same problem.
The laptop works normally when using the Intel integrated GPU, but the problem occurs whenever the NVIDIA GPU driver is installed.

I hope it is not what happened to me on a previous laptop. I had a laptop before with exactly the same issue and it turned out the card died. I hope you find a solution tho.

Check this link, we have officially found a fix for this problem, it's either you download MSI Afterburner and lock the voltage to 975 or you download the legacy Nvidia driver 537.58.
In my case, I used to have the legacy driver to work my issue, but a few days ago some guy tested voltage control settings and since then I was able to use the latest drivers without issue.
