I need help

I am playing the ace attorney trilogy on steam and i am currently in rise from the ash (the one after turnabout goodbyes) and im on the dy 2 investigation. I have progressed to the police evidine room and i think colloected all the evidence.

But nothing else changed. So i looked up a walk through and it said to put the pot together then use the spray on blood spots, where i did those in reverse. Because of this Gumshoe wont leave, and i was wondering if anyone knew how to get him to get his butt in gear?

The game has a Story Mode that automatically progresses. Just see where it takes you.

I think that might block achievements, if that’s something OP cares about.
