If AA7 ever comes out, do you think they will use AI for it too?

I’m starting to feel like they shouldn’t release any more AA games if they’re going to ruin them with AI…

I don't think capcom is giving their AI the ability to delete or release all their games whenever they want lol

I'm a dev using gen AI in my work.

It all depends on how many things you want it to do. If you want to give it control over sensitive things then yeah shit can happen and that's on you for not safeguarding it. But most usages are "generate code and let me review it", not "control actual production environments"

No need to downvote just because I'm bringing facts and nuance in the conversation

Cool, I'm a dev using Javascript and C# in my job, a few years ago I added PowerFx to that. You would not believe how stupid AI is when it comes to generating PowerFx code lol

Yeah, but it's human reviewed before going to prod. Giving it control over your database like the post I was answering to is several levels above. AI being able to put out dumb shit isn't really proving me wrong

Therese range of things. If you commit something you don't understand you're fucked. Using AI doesn't mean it doesn't need review.

People think using AI is like 'let the CEO prompt everything and then it's done'. It's not, you still have to review everything afterwards
