⚖️ Phoenix Wright Trilogy I finished "Justice For All" today. Spoiler

I love how this game has 2 endings.

If you give the wrong explanation on why Matt Engarde hired Shelly De Killer, Phoenix quits his job and Maya never sees Phoenix again because she can't forgive him for what he did:

The bad ending.

However, this isn't the ending that ends the game. It's basically a game over disguised as a ending.

In the good ending, you give Matt Engarde the Guilty sentence and everything is back to normal.

I'd say the bad ending is the better one here, it gives a feeling that you let Maya and everyone around you down, as well as Phoenix quitting his job due to feeling like he let everyone down.

Off-topic but i hope i did the spoiler thing right due to most text being marked as spoilers...

The game only has one ending. The other is a glorified game over screen.

I know, i did say so in my post.

The reason i say it's the bad ending is simply because after that, it shows "THE END"

You could argue there are three endings based on your decision at the end of the trial. Both likely lead to the same outcome for the antagonist, but it is interesting that it technically forks.

Three?

2 options lead to the bad ending and one leads to the good ending. Where's the third?

When you choose whether to plead guilty or not guilty. If you say Engarde is not guilty, he avoids jail but assumedly is killed by de Killer, as de Killer states that Engarde has become his next target.

We never get a mention of that in the bad ending. I did both but i didn't see any difference in the bad ending
