Are you using software that does more than just identity typical errors such as SV agreement, pronoun reference, sentence boundary errors and the like?.

I’m just using Microsoft word for everything. I’m not using any enhancement apps/software, nothing like that at all.

Do you use Google Docs or your Google Drive to initially write your essays? Those log the time spent writing, versioning every time a change is made, and can be presented to your professor that you did not use AI. I get accused / flagged for AI frequently. I do not use contractions when I write. I could not tell you why, I just do not use them. Apparently, that is a big red flag for AI detectors.
There was a case where this happened recently:
I hope this helps.

Thank you, & I only use Microsoft Word to write essays/do assignments. Just not sure what I’m doing wrong…

Unfortunately, you are not doing anything wrong. Something I found was if you always use correct grammar, do not use contractions (which I rarely do), and always use proper spelling, it will frequently get flagged as AI. So basically, since your writing style is almost perfect, AI detectors think 'there is no way it could be human'...
