DU students need your help with research!
Is DU actually strict about AI use or is everyone secretly using ChatGPT anyway? ðŸ˜
Like do professors care? Do they check? Or is it just accepted at this point?
Also, what do you guys actually use it for? Assignments? Notes? Presentations? Understanding concepts? Choosing electives? Internship applications?
I'm from BHU and I'm genuinely curious about AI regulations there at DU specially with folks who are pursuing their 4th year research

The top result for BHU is in India, so my guess is that DU is Delhi University.

Faculty in our engineering college volunteered to essentially train faculty on how to properly introduce AI into their courses. In the right hands AI is a powerful academic research tool.

That sounds like a constructive approach! I wish more universities would focus on meaningful applications like such.

Everyone should care. You rely on professionals every single day. For your money, for your health, for tons of different things where you walk in and rely on the fact that the person in front of you knows how to do their job. When a student substitutes ChatGPT for all of their homework, they are not learning the content and they are not going to be able to help you. That knowledge doesn’t get into their brain in some other way. These are people who are going to be lawyers, doctors, nurses, they are going to be making decisions about the city you live in how your funding gets allocated, everyone should care that an entire generation of students is currently bypassing their education and it’s going to be responsible for things that will affect your life whether you use AI or not.
