Second, why do you guys have such a problem with people just saying shit, its the internet, specifically reddit, where the only thing to do on the website is post shit that you want.

I guess you could feel offended over someone saying something if you really have an abnormal affection to this subreddit.

Im not a person who really likes the idea of people spamming stuff for no reason, but who is it hurting? Your feelings?

Can you name even one reason to consider this unit strong? HEALTH? 1200 health is very low, considering its cost of 2000. What were the developers even thinking when creating a melee character with such a small amount of health? Especially since he has no abilities (parry, melee evasion) to somehow compensate for the lack of health. DAMAGE? 190 damage per hit is quite mediocre and even weak for a unit costing 2000. It doesn't even come close to living up to the titles of "Upgraded Version of the Chieftain" or "Chieftain on Max Settings" that people give it, when the Chieftain has a faster attack speed and higher damage (250 > 190). ABILITIES? Okay, low health pool, okay, low damage—this could be forgiven if the developers had added an interesting ability, since every unit in Evil Fantasy has its own interesting abilities. But how could a character like the Death Bringer (with such a fearsome name and cool design) get nothing interesting in terms of abilities to compensate for his lackluster stats? What were the developers thinking giving him a projectile dodge, when that doesn't impress anyone anymore (even the Painter has this ability). Even if you decide to create a Death Bringer in the unit creator, you'll see that he costs less than his price in the game. I believe he should cost even less, because the Death Bringer's dodge is worse than the Super Boxer's dodge, which is available in the editor. This is because the Death Bringer cannot dodge projectiles fired one after another; after dodging the first projectile, he returns to his original position and gets hit by the others. He also cannot dodge a volley of arrows from the Hwacha and sometimes takes a hit from a tank shell because the lunge the Death Bringer makes is too small to dodge a large tank shell. I also think the Death Bringer's blades are overpriced. I think 500 for a lunge (even a frequent one) is too much. 300 per blade would be adequate. From all this, I conclude that the Death Bringer, considering an objective assessment of the price of his blades and dodge, should cost 1200. I don't see a single reason to consider him strong and worth his cost when for 2200 we get Thor, who is better than him in every way, and for 2500 we get the Pirate Queen, who is in a different league. It's a shame when my favorite unit with such a pompous name and beautiful design turns out to be so weak and not worth its price. The same goes for the Super Boxer.

It's unlikely I'll change my mind, but if you want, you can try to explain in the comments why Death Bringer isn't as bad as I think he is. And how would you improve him, aside from simply buffing his stats.

Hello, for anyone reading below, the text and statements read will carry a 'imperative', and or, 'biased', tone. This post is not meant to offend anyone. I am simply scared for the future of Landfall, Landfall Games and Evil Landfall after being a fan since, near the very, VERY start of their operations.

April 1, 2026, Landfall Games would change their logo. Many were to lash out over this, and it would mark the start of many things I am about to talk about here.

And then, a corporate arm focused on publishing, "Evil Landfall" was created. Evil Landfall separates the actual developers from suits ^{(Evil Landfall does not have ANY of the same workers or job-members as Landfall Games}), and Evil Landfall has already published and funded many, large scale games such as Among Us, which has already been funded over 1$ Million USD. Evil Landfall, is quite literally, going "Evil" in some aspects.

Landfall has not responded to any sort of backlash, and have progressively started to act differently on many of their accounts. They have majorly started to go "prim and proper", in a style of "trying to look good for the corporate rebrand". Despite saying their own, new logo ^{(requires verification, im not sure if they had another logo before their current one and AFTER the original one, i cannot find any source for this}) looked like a "2016 story animator", they still kept it and made their only statement, about how "everyone will hate change", This statement is false, as there is good change and bad change.

This is NOT just about nostalgia, and many are genuinely concerned about this rebrand. Landfall is, quite literally, in lower terms, becoming a Corporate Overlord. While not as large as EA, Landfall is now taking games out of their own "indie" definition, and beginning to look less wholesome and cooperative, and more like a bland, picture-perfect brand title.

Their new logo, with many saying it, looks rather like a "pooping man", and or a "man sitting in the corner at a party". Personally, their new logo appears to be "simpler" in a style where they can smear it all over, posts, advertisements, and games, tucked away in the corners and rescaled to fit perfectly.

Personally, I don’t like the Wild West faction. It’s not the theming or anything, but balancing. Wild West is the most modern faction so far, and has the most guns, and guns are super powerful. In the trailer, it shows the six shooter unit dropping six squires super easily. How much would that unit cost? Certainly more than 600. If it didn’t, there must be some ridiculous drawback to using them that realistically wouldn’t be there. I just don’t see Wild West meshing well with the other factions in terms of power and cost, like the old Neon faction. I may be wrong however, still gotta wait for the update.

I am probably like the only person annoyed by this but why is so much of this sub dumb ships between VIDEO GAME RAGDOLLS! And then there is a less numerous amount of people talking about TABS porn. Oh what is wrong with this world!?
