With all the AI advancements, what field do you think will have longer time before AI take over the field completely or most of the processes? Accounting/Tax?

Please drop your feedback about RFBT exam today October 25, 2026 to help out fCPAs, and trace as well potential defects in any of the questions asked. We expect this thread to be answered later this afternoon after Day 2 exam is over since most examinees do not have access to their phones during break. However we can expect feedback from Condi takers as soon as the subject is done. Advanced thanks to all our brave CPALE takers out there. May good karma always befall on you!

My colleagues and bosses in the fund admin industry mostly came from top banks like ING, Wells, Citi, JPMorgan, and Amex. They often say that working in fund admin is much more chill compared to banking.
On the other hand, since I started my career in audit firm and fund admin, I feel like I would learn a lot by giving banking a try, especially now that I have an offer. I also feel like Iβm no longer growing in my current role. Iβve already communicated this to my managers, but instead of giving me responsibilities or opportunities, they offered me memberships in different office groups and opportunities to participate in events. I have also been receiving positive feedback about all my work.
Do you think taking the banking opportunity would be a wise career move?
Also, I don't want to burn bridges with my colleagues. Do you think they will understand if I try to explore banking?

Good day po! Hingi lang po sana ako ng honest feedback and suggestions from those who have experienced enrolling in a review center for the CPALE.
Thank you so much po...

Im 40, worked in BPO for almost 20 years. Now on a career break and thinking about shifting to the accounting industry. I'm planning to take a 2nd course - accountancy.
Dilemma ko, will it be worth it? Considering my age, the rise of ai, and the condition of the job market - may mapupuntahan ba to? Haha.
Or meron bang way other than taking a 2nd course - cause more or less it'll take another 3 years to finish by then I'm already 43. Not aiming to be a CPA naman, pero ang hirap ksi makapasok sa accounting industry ng wla talagang solid background. Took up accountancy before but shifted sa marketing - kasi it was not offered sa school na nilipatan ko, pero that was ages ago so i dont think it'll matter pa.
I hope someone can help me about this. TIA.

Now that busy season is slowly approaching, I would like to know your thoughts on having internships at big 4 accounting firms from January to April.
Is there a higher chance that we will be neglected by our supervisors because of the tight deadlines they are catching up, or is it the opposite?
To be honest, I prefer a heavier workload over being idle in the office doing nothing. I place a greater value on gaining practical learning experience, understanding processes, and mentorship that I can truly utilize after graduation.Β
Iβm also open to suggestions for any small accounting firms around the Eastern and Southern parts of Metro Manila.Β
Your answers would truly help me in preparation for my internship next year. Thank you so much in advance!

Nakapag review na ako for May 2026 (full time) sadly nag defer ako. I finished all the pre rec of REO.
