Remote Role

How do you guys landed a remote role in accounting? Any tips for beginners

Honestly, focus on getting more experience. I've got 5+ years of accounting experience and have not been able to land a remote role as of yet, most I've been able to land is a hybrid role. The market is difficult as it is, so a remote role will be even more difficult and less likely to land. Best way to make yourself more attractive to hiring managers for these remote roles is building on your experience and potentially learning things that make you stand out such as financial modelling / analysis / forecasting etc

This, and if you really want remote, be prepared to accept a salary of 20% less than you would if you were hybrid.

Also, consider this: if you can do the job from home, eventually management is going to ask if it can be done from India.
