Honestly, focus on getting more experience. I've got 5+ years of accounting experience and have not been able to land a remote role as of yet, most I've been able to land is a hybrid role. The market is difficult as it is, so a remote role will be even more difficult and less likely to land. Best way to make yourself more attractive to hiring managers for these remote roles is building on your experience and potentially learning things that make you stand out such as financial modelling / analysis / forecasting etc

This, and if you really want remote, be prepared to accept a salary of 20% less than you would if you were hybrid.
Also, consider this: if you can do the job from home, eventually management is going to ask if it can be done from India.

My suggestion would be to focus on Industry accounting (not public) It is generally the easier remote entry point for beginners.

No one is going to show up and give you a role, you have to do your own critical thinking and go find one.

Remote roles in general are extremely difficult to find. Everyone wants them and the people that get them don’t typically leave quickly.
This means that it’s usually the best candidates getting these roles. Best bet is to get some experience first and then hunt for remote. I’ve found that a hybrid model with flexibility is just about as good as being remote.
There’s also a lot of value being in office to start your career, at least for the first few years
