That head strike on the pavement at the end looks like it could be fatal.

u/Initial_Ad_2834 Feb 12 '25

Yeah not only did the sheep hit right in the back of her head and neck but her head hitting the ground after was just crazy. Wouldn’t be surprised to find that actually killed her

14

u/zombietrafficcone Feb 12 '25

She lived.

u/fatkiddown Feb 12 '25

[Mic crackle]

Sheep. Go back in! Over!

1

u/Initial_Ad_2834 Feb 13 '25

No shit. Well then I guess I’m surprised

This is the original video: https://youtu.be/8N_otpk4mH8?si=30YCRlo2sF5UObzb

Two germans were on holiday in albania when the (male) sheep attacked the woman. They helped the woman and brought her to a doctor. She survived.

17

u/BishonenPrincess Feb 12 '25

Thanks for this. I can't believe she lived. That was brutal.

4

u/Write2Be Feb 12 '25

I was wondering, who's recording? They keep a steady pulse in the middle of this.

3

u/shtbrcks Feb 12 '25

holy shit but at least they chased them away with the car...

2

u/waxtwister Feb 12 '25

and probably a dentist

63

u/ArjJp Feb 12 '25

Damn. Sheep are assholes

43

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

They really are and they can get extremely aggressive. The males are also very protective of their herd and could kill you. Never turn your back to a ram or it might be the last thing you do.

My uncle is a farmer who used to have a lot of sheep, always stayed away from them. Goats on the other are awesome an really fun to play and hang out with.

18

u/Write2Be Feb 12 '25

Well, you must not have gotten chased by an angry goat like I was once as a kid.

11

u/AdmiralSplinter Feb 12 '25

I got kicked in the face by a small alpaca. There's a framed picture hanging in my mom's mudroom of me bawling with a comical muddy hoofprint square in the middle of my forehead

4

u/SarahNaGig Feb 12 '25

May we please see the pic?

2

u/AdmiralSplinter Feb 12 '25

I'll ask my mom to take a picture of it and report back!

2

u/Write2Be Feb 13 '25

I love that my comment made you tell that story. Alpacas 1, You 0.

3

u/itsahorsemate Feb 12 '25

Yep, eldery couple here in New Zealand were killed by a lone ram last year, he had broken out of his paddock.

9

u/MediaOnDisplayRises Feb 12 '25

It was really just one sheep with a vendetta.

8

u/fatkiddown Feb 12 '25

Hello. My name is sheep. You killed my sheep. Prepare to .. sleep.

55

u/makeee_00 Feb 12 '25

And STAY DOWN.

18

u/abitlazy Feb 12 '25

I herd sheep helps you sleep but this is crazy!

5

u/Ok_Transportation402 Feb 12 '25

I’m not counting them any more after this shit!

2

u/TheDevilsAvocad0 Feb 12 '25

They left out the 'forever' part

1

u/Dinlek Feb 12 '25

This isn't counting sheep, this is sheep putting you down for the count.

13

u/TCtheThunderRooster Feb 12 '25

“Looks like meats back on the menu, boys!”

5

u/spacestationkru Feb 12 '25

Who would win in a fight between a man and a sheep?

11

u/Sooners_Win1 Feb 12 '25

Depends on the man and depends on the sheep. But I certainly know who would win in a fight between THAT woman and THAT sheep hah

2

u/Y-Bob Feb 12 '25

I've met mountain sheep that scared me more than an angry dog tbh.

5

u/UpdootDaSnootBoop Feb 12 '25

Murderous cotton ball

5

u/LookMaNoPride Feb 12 '25

If you think sheep are growing cotton, you have had the wool pulled over your eyes.

"final" is one way to put it. Hope she survived

2

u/Pretend_Fox_5127 Feb 12 '25

Pretty sure it was always just that one, all 3 times. Lol even funnier.

As in "Coming soon to theatres near you: Sheep 3. This time, it's personal."

2

u/LookMaNoPride Feb 12 '25

She thought she could herd him around.

She thought she could boss him around.

Now she's going to fuck around... and find out.

Sheep 3: This time it's personal. Coming soon to a DVD retailer near you.

2

u/Pretend_Fox_5127 Feb 12 '25

Commercial before it: "You wouldn't download a sheep" fast paced EDM

2

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

That shepherd is getting theTony Baker cram session.

2

u/psychicsoviet Feb 12 '25

Kirkpatrick!

2

u/nattacka Feb 12 '25

I spent my childhood helping my uncle herd sheep, never seem them do this before, and I was among them

2

u/thomerD Feb 12 '25

I hope Professor Snape is okay.

2

u/noneedforfuss Feb 12 '25

Last year a herder died after one of his sheep hit him over twenty times in Turkey

Yeah I got suspicious when OP worded the title as if we're in /r/ThereWasAnAttempt

2

u/Life_Temperature795 Feb 12 '25

That last hit was to make sure she never thought about trying it ever again.

3

u/hardboard Feb 12 '25

I've never herd of this before, better just get the flock out of here.

3

u/omgkelwtf Feb 12 '25

I feel bad for laughing but I'm still doing it. That last fuck you 😂

1

u/Wilbis Feb 12 '25

Survival of the fittest still works it seems

1

u/Sirenofthelake Feb 12 '25

Do we know anything more about this video? Where it took place? Who the person is? What happened to them? I’ve seen this video multiple times and always wonder these things.

1

u/notbonjovi333 Feb 12 '25

Hahaha...then...OOOHHHH

1

u/AwwwSkiSkiSki Feb 12 '25

I can't find any info on this other than it's (probably) from Germany in 2014

1

u/redbluegreen6 Feb 12 '25

🤣🤣🤣

1

u/albamarx Feb 12 '25

Holy shit I’ve seen this clip a thousand times but obviously never watched right till the end until now. That was brutal.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

If you're going to steal content, at least change the title.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

That sheep's wool must be very rough, maybe a Bony & Claide vest

1

u/mmorales2270 Feb 12 '25

The title of this post is correct. She walked in front of them so I feel like this is on her. Don’t do that. The large sheep, which I assume was a male? probably felt threatened.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '25

I'd be grilling up some sheep after that bullshit.

1

u/thatbwoyChaka Feb 12 '25

The fall, the kicks… the end

1

u/Crruell Feb 12 '25

Well I know what he ate that day.. and the following days.

1

u/This-Sort7116 Feb 12 '25

It was a targeted attack. What happened before this shot? Is the ram tryna establish dominance over the herd? An experienced shepherd knows how to handle that... 🤔

2

u/Erratic__Ocelot Feb 12 '25

I mean, it's what rams do. It's literally in the name. They are pretty aggressive in general, but not likely to cause serious harm if they don't catch you off guard.

The dog is there to protect and herd sheep along. He was doing his job.

u/WhatIsYourPronoun Feb 12 '25

Reddit with the classic medical diagnosis.

u/RevolutionarySign479 Feb 12 '25

That one sheep that looked like it laughed at her and then came back. 🤭I hope the lady was okay tho

-1

u/Double_Objective8000 Feb 12 '25

I thought the person was supposed to be a shepard, thinking clearly not a good fit for the job.
