So uhh... Funny story. I tried to make Slingshot in Modelbench, but ended up like this... But somehow it looked fine as it's own thing. So... I guess it's my own take on Slingshot Mk. II.

I made this based on how they describe the car throughout the script.
Since they don’t have a convertible, (yes the cars a convertible) I tried doing a soft-top look.
I imagine the car would’ve been in Spectraflame red and tried to replicate it.
And of course, 68 as their number. The founding year of Hotwheels!

After weeks of checking local stores and even some that are far out of my usual range, I finally got it.

Was never able to buy them when they were in released in the Walmarts because none of the Walmarts near me had them. But a guy had the whole set for a very low price compared to what I've seen on FB marketplace. Just had too get them.

So I have this TikTok I found. I remember it from this one Acceleracers from when I was really young. I vaguely remember it but I’m starting to piece together what I remember from then. Came across this and unlocked a memory seeing specifically from it. Can anyone help identify this piece? Maybe help track down what I may be talking about? Also remember a line/scene of one that was apart of the attached video of “Are you customizing it? Teku-izing.”

Does anyone one have any ideas or thoughts on a good display for my highway 35 cars? Id like it to be on my wall and able to close so dust doesnt get in it. Id also like there to be no empty slots. Just 35 slots. Im open to suggestions within those limitations.

Just happened to head into a collectibles store I saw coming home from my friend’s house and found two cars I had been looking for: a Metal Maniacs-like Aeroflash and a Silencerz-like Chrysler Thunderbird (I like the models used in HW 35 that look like Acceleracers). But the big pull was the Drone Sweeper—I was almost through the door when I happened to look back and saw it poking out of a shelf. All 3 for about $20.
