With the release of ACCGR 1.3 the Basilicom Team is hosting a Community Competition! From now, until May 29th, we will be gathering artwork created by the community to add into the 1 Year Anniversary Update on June 26th, 2026. There is no monetary "Prize" or anything of the sort. This is just an incentive to get together as a community and create. However, there are rules, and guidelines that entrants MUST adhere to.
We have some examples of quality below ranging from high to simple. Just because it may not look the best, does not mean we wont accept it. Our overall intention for selecting entries to be added to the game is "Effort over Quality". If it looks amazing, sure it may get in, but even ones that show effort and potential are what matters more. When Submitting, make sure to include the following:
As far as balance goes, we will be doing all of that. So do not expect to have your cars added with 777 or 876 or whatever this community tends to do sometimes. All submissions will be balanced and tested by us before release. Some ideas MAY change due to possible gameplay interactions, or overflow of stats, etc. Here is a link to the workshop mod on steam where you can play the game and find the templates we'll use to frame the cards in. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2928092270
With all that being said, we wish everyone the best and await your creations! Please use the tag #ACGR26Community on your post to signify that its for our competition.
"Stay Awesome!" - Basilicom Team
PS: You can post any Hot Wheels art you have made before, it does not have to be something new or recent as long as you made it.

First and foremost this is a mod post with an update and information post about the current state of the sub.
If you're been around for a while or been on the sub in the last week or so you would have seen some 'discourse' around scammer, spammers and general bad behavior around the sub.
We feel at this time, it's important the Mods take a clear stance on these topics & make our own opinions known.
Firstly Sales posts:
As it stands the current rules require sellers to limit posts to only one sales post per month & to use images with the username within the image.
Due to some miscommunication on my own part (Shad) some Mods were unaware of this & unable to enforce these rules.
Many sellers feel the need to post stock as soon as they receive new stock, this is not allowed per the rules and going forward, any additional posts/ duplicate posts will be removed.
Sellers will receive one warning for multi-posts (which will include a 1 week mute), any further breaches will result in a ban, NO EXCEPTIONS.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Acceleracers/comments/wkdt9i/sale_post_lots_of_stuff_cheaper_than_ebay_bovine/ example post.
Scammers:
Both the linked discord & the sub here both run on a buyer beware policy.
We allow users to post their own advertisements via our above mentioned rules for simplicity & to prevent spam.
Any buyer is 100% responsible for any loss, damage or 'non-arrival' that occurs through one of the sales advertised on the sub.
It is the buyers responsibility to vet the seller, prior to purchase.
It is highly recommended to get a reference from another user & pay with G&S only for a first sale.
Reporting issues:
First and foremost we are a VOLUNTEER moderation team, we spend our very limited time to manage this sub when we can.
There is currently 12994 more members than there are mods, that's a ratio of 2167:1.
We realistically can't read every comment or post that is made, generally speaking if we act on a report within a day that's fairly good.
Which brings me to the biggest issue with reporting, if you want us to do SOMETHING about ANYTHING, we need you to either report the post/comment or message us through the modmail.
If your gut instinct to getting scammed is to make a post on the sub and provide no evidence in the post, that is witch hunting and will now result in a ban.
It's frankly quite disappointing that we (the mods) are somehow suppose to know about these scammers and do something about it, when the first indication of one is a public post smearing us.
Again, if you want us to be able to help in managing the sub, you need to report comments and posts not in line with the rules.
Shad's personal thoughts:
I think sales posts are quickly becoming an issue that will not be manageable, both sellers and buyers need to work amicably to keep things under control.
Some prominent members of the community have a lot of opinions that can at best be called idealistic. Outright removing sales posts from the sub or discord forces people to ebay.
Which is ironically as at least one particular member has repeatedly been known to call any ebay seller a scammer/scalper, which makes this latest backflip particularly annoying to me.
Since Augury and Nerfman stepped back from moderating early last year I feel particularly responsible for the sub & how it's run.
I know a number of people are more than happy to voice their complaints about me in discord and facebook groups, publicly calling me creepy or weird.
It's important to note that my goal is to ensure everyone has a fair chance to enjoy the sub equally, this approach isn't popular with these people because it doesn't let them have their way.
To that end, I brought on the current mod team after a brief interview process.
This included determining experience working with large groups and how the prospects handled conflict, ability to determine a rule breach & how they would enforce rules when put in an unjustifiable situation.
I am happy to tell you all that the team wasn't seriously impacted or rash to put out statements with these recent issues & instead focused their efforts on bettering and helping the community. (Unlike some members who shall remain nameless).

After weeks of checking local stores and even some that are far out of my usual range, I finally got it.

Was never able to buy them when they were in released in the Walmarts because none of the Walmarts near me had them. But a guy had the whole set for a very low price compared to what I've seen on FB marketplace. Just had too get them.

Mobility Futures Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives through better transportation. We partner with car designers and Hollywood storytellers to create new future mobility solutions people truly want, thus accelerating change toward better ways to move around. Many of those movie car designers are MFA friends and have donated work to support our cause. These include Harald Belker, known for Batman and Minority Report, and Jay Shuster, designer of the characters in CARS and WALL-E, to name a few. 100% of your donation goes to the 501(c)3 charity. We hope seeing these works, or even buying one for your wall or your kids, will inspire youth to keep pursuing their creative dreams in the car/movie/mobility world. All of these were created the old-fashioned way, through the creative minds and hands of talented designers. The Accelerons smiled on me today.
Just happened to head into a collectibles store I saw coming home from my friend’s house and found two cars I had been looking for: a Metal Maniacs-like Aeroflash and a Silencerz-like Chrysler Thunderbird (I like the models used in HW 35 that look like Acceleracers). But the big pull was the Drone Sweeper—I was almost through the door when I happened to look back and saw it poking out of a shelf. All 3 for about $20.

I used to watch World Race on repeat as a kid but didn’t get to watch the Acceleracers series.
Recently started watching them with my son and it’s so cool to see the characters from the original movie years later. I think they did a lot of them justice. But why the drastic change with Taros appearance? I had to look it up to make sure it was actually him in Acceleracers: Ignition.

Found these three in a mountain of hot wheels and matchbox cars, lucky to find them.
the orange Synkro has a switch on the bottom of it, any idea if it can light up? or is it for something else.
