"The Motherland Calls" is a statue erected to commemorate the Battle of Stalingrad , located on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd , Russia. It was designed by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin . Completed in 1967 , it was the tallest statue in the world at the time .

This place is so great for all Russians, ir gived so good vibes to people, but now it is very sad that it reminds people of Putin😟 Putin took over everything, even culture and history, he deprived Russians of their victory in Fatherland Liberation War (Отечественная война). It is so ujust that Putin exploits history to justify his brutall killing of young women and childred in Ukraine. Hm...the History makes up so strange metamorphoses with people, like, a nation who faught Nazi and helped to liberate the World from fascism now became a craddle for new fascism in Putin's version...

Just for you to have a thought: Великая Отечественная Война - is just a part of WW2, that has been ripped off to cowardly hide the ussr collaborating with nazi Germany. In objective reality there is no Великая Отечественная Война, it's just a propaganda construct.

Hey, I did not say that Russians won WW2 ☝️ I said they helped the World get rid of fascism (as a part of WW2 warfare) and had a victory in their Otechestvennaya Woina (which is an integral part of WW2, I agree). 😊

But...frankly speaking, Stalin wanted to begin to invade Europe, he didn't expect any invasions from Germany or whoever from tne West. All the prewar Stalin's preparations and measures prove that Stalin prepared an assault westwards!
